Shameless Parents, Shameless Kids
As for links - try Nexus Magazine for good information. Jamie Oliver for recipes. Google Viera Schrieber re vaccination.— November 1, 2009 7:06 p.m.

Guidance includes teaching manners and there is nothing wrong with some red meat properly prepared - soy is crap I agree. "Complicated new" refers to the whole psycho industry that has developed over the last 100 years. Psychologists who prepare a report on someone after a 1 hour interview (and never think to ask "What do you eat?") and psychiatrists who look at the symptoms and prescribe drugs (and never think to ask "What do you eat?").— November 1, 2009 7:02 p.m.

Yes - it is very simple. If a child is well nourished, with good food, love, and guidance through their "psychological stages of development" (which are not "plain old" - in fact they are "complicated new") they will be content and thrive.— November 1, 2009 6:41 p.m.

He didn't like home cooking because he lost his 'taste' for it. A child who has had, say, eggs for breakfast (a good protein that fills them up, rather than a highly sugared cereal with little nutritional value and with fast and short lived energy conversion), home-made soup for lunch, and meat, vegetables and salad for dinner will be focussed and settled. In short, children need nourishment in all senses of the word. Their excuse is ignorance, misleading advertising, an incompetent medical profession that relies on research from pharmaceutical companies (therefore not independent research) and their own poor diet and lack of structure in their lives.— November 1, 2009 1:35 p.m.
Shameless Parents, Shameless Kids
Poor behaviour of children is related to diet. And some children are more reactive to processed food than others. Also vaccination reactions cause autism. A child that is out of control in the manner described has generally eaten something that has triggered this response. Or perhaps they are hungry and this also leads to erratic behaviour as their sugar levels have dropped. Parents that don't feed their children good food are either lazy or work fulltime and are exhausted at the end of the day. They take short cuts in the kitchen. Even if these parents are 'good' and put in place rules and boundaries for their children, there is no chance these will be followed by a child that has eaten something that will cause a reaction. I just feel sorry for the whole lot of them - the parents who don't know better and the child who can't help him/herself.— November 1, 2009 1:04 p.m.
