You get the idea behind why he feels so empowered. After all, it's certainly ethical to send emails like this to faculty, especially if he can simply claim that he's so brilliant that he's beyond reproach. SWC has failed the public. Remove the cancers before it's too late.

Is Proposition C Just a Green Light for Developers?
Four different comments from four different identities, this being the only comment they've ever left in the Reader. Prop. C isn't going to do anything other than to help developers build new homes, never mind that existing homes go unsold. There will be no parks and no libraries because there isn't any money to build them; and even if there was, there is no money to staff them.

America is not a free market economy. Otherwise there would be no such thing as a Federal Reserve. And all candidates likely had relatives who at one time or another owned slaves, burned witches, or otherwise committed some heinous act in the past. You need to decide who is going to be better able to do what's in the best interest of the people of the State of California. You shouldn't care if they inhaled while they were in college (I'd be personally disappointed if they didn't), you need to figure out if they're inhaling now. By the way, California became the wealthy State it once was based on illegal immigrant labor, anyone having an issue with it should buy a Ouija and have a nice talk with Jerry Brown's old man, he encouraged it.

Three-Year SD Consumer Spending Drop Worst Since Great Depression
Raising the inflation rate has other purposes. Agree with Burwell, that it won't increase consumer spending, but it will encourage the FED to raise interest rates. If the banks can make money loaning at higher rates, then this could kick-start small businesses and the U.S. could recognize real growth. Let the lunatic raise inflation, he could accidentally start a real economic recovery.

The Unbearable Lightness of Bee-ing
Nan, I wholeheartedly recommend "Poisonwood Bible", it's funny that some of my snobbish literary pals look at me as though I were nuts, but that novel is stellar in many respects. The missionaries were Americans, actually, and they trekked to Africa. One thing that Kingsolver seems to have successfully pulled off is that the novel was written in multiple narrative (think Faulkner's "As I Lay Dying"). I would never attempt such an aggressive and difficult format, yet she pulled me right into the novel and I think I read it front to back in about a day. Next time you're book shopping, get it, you won't be disappointed.

Border-Crossing Regulations Implemented, Longer Waits Created
Betting sports teams is tricky business. I've thought about pitching a column idea that would cover gambling, not certain if the Reader would be interested (I could easily get enough advertising to make it worthwhile), as they already have a "sort-of" sports column. I don't think that there's a system that leads to success, regardless of what one hears on the radio sometimes. The key is to look for value, which means betting the money-line rather than the spread. Regarding the story, it's the government punishing people because the government refuses to grant them a passport. I cannot obtain a passport, I wasted over $200 trying. Yet, they punch up my CA I.D. and proceed to tell me that my passport is being processed (which isn't true). Now they simply wish to punish people. It has nothing to do with security.

I think that when you read the pompous-assed comment #56 from MacNeill and then you read this story: http://www.10news.com/news/25123558/detail.html You get the idea behind why he feels so empowered. After all, it's certainly ethical to send emails like this to faculty, especially if he can simply claim that he's so brilliant that he's beyond reproach. SWC has failed the public. Is Proposition C Just a Green Light for Developers?
Four different comments from four different identities, this being the only comment they've ever left in the Reader. Prop. C isn't going to do anything other than to help developers build new homes, never mind that existing homes go unsold. There will be no parks and no libraries because there isn't any money to build them; and even if there was, there is no money to staff them.— October 25, 2010 7:08 p.m.

America is not a free market economy. Otherwise there would be no such thing as a Federal Reserve. And all candidates likely had relatives who at one time or another owned slaves, burned witches, or otherwise committed some heinous act in the past. You need to decide who is going to be better able to do what's in the best interest of the people of the State of California. You shouldn't care if they inhaled while they were in college (I'd be personally disappointed if they didn't), you need to figure out if they're inhaling now. By the way, California became the wealthy State it once was based on illegal immigrant labor, anyone having an issue with it should buy a Ouija and have a nice talk with Jerry Brown's old man, he encouraged it.— October 25, 2010 12:37 a.m.

Three-Year SD Consumer Spending Drop Worst Since Great Depression
Raising the inflation rate has other purposes. Agree with Burwell, that it won't increase consumer spending, but it will encourage the FED to raise interest rates. If the banks can make money loaning at higher rates, then this could kick-start small businesses and the U.S. could recognize real growth. The Unbearable Lightness of Bee-ing
Nan, I wholeheartedly recommend "Poisonwood Bible", it's funny that some of my snobbish literary pals look at me as though I were nuts, but that novel is stellar in many respects. The missionaries were Americans, actually, and they trekked to Africa. One thing that Kingsolver seems to have successfully pulled off is that the novel was written in multiple narrative (think Faulkner's "As I Lay Dying"). I would never attempt such an aggressive and difficult format, yet she pulled me right into the novel and I think I read it front to back in about a day. Next time you're book shopping, get it, you won't be disappointed.— October 22, 2010 6:26 p.m.
Border-Crossing Regulations Implemented, Longer Waits Created
Betting sports teams is tricky business. I've thought about pitching a column idea that would cover gambling, not certain if the Reader would be interested (I could easily get enough advertising to make it worthwhile), as they already have a "sort-of" sports column. I don't think that there's a system that leads to success, regardless of what one hears on the radio sometimes. The key is to look for value, which means betting the money-line rather than the spread. Regarding the story, it's the government punishing people because the government refuses to grant them a passport. I cannot obtain a passport, I wasted over $200 trying. Yet, they punch up my CA I.D. and proceed to tell me that my passport is being processed (which isn't true). Now they simply wish to punish people.
