Plainly constitutional
To the Romney who originally said "Corporations are people, my friend," my response is: The people who you say are also corporations ***already have*** the same voting rights, and the same free speech rights, as the rest of us. So why should they get ***additional*** voting and speech rights through corporations? It's not because of the constitution, or original intent. It's largely based on flawed court decisions and/or related distortions that need to be corrected. Here is an example: "this Court now concludes that independent expenditures, including those made by corporations, do not give rise to corruption or the appearance of corruption."— April 7, 2015 1:38 p.m.
