Congresswoman claims a Filner groping (years ago)
Don Bauder, don't you at least feel a little dirty for writing this? Don't you feel any shame for sticking up for Filner? Don't you have any empathy for women? Don't you understand that idols are just statues that break when they fall off their pedestal? UPDATE: Don Bauder is insecure in his marriage. In Colorado. The preceding was presented with the same level of journalistic accuracy that Don Bauder brings to The Reader every time he reproduces a press release from the comforts of his chair in another time zone.— January 29, 2018 10:39 p.m.
Chaos at newly unionized L.A. Times
The real reporters who work for the Los Angeles Times don't need help from a lazy, conspiratorial fake reporter such as Bauder. The more you write, Bauder, the more you aid management's case. Don't you understand, bro, that you make the rest of us look bad? Please stop writing. Go skiing or eat steak or whatever it is they do in Colorado.— January 29, 2018 10:30 p.m.
tronc to San Diego: drop dead?
Thanks, Bradley.— January 29, 2018 10:18 p.m.
SD City College instructors plan protest
The adjuncts I had at City were either very good teachers, but not researchers, or very bad teachers who did research by watching RTV. None were researchers. City's not about research. It's a combination of skills-training, remedial education for S.D. high school grads, a place for unemployed people to learn something new, and a way to occupy one's time between jobs. It is not a research institution. If a City College adjunct cures cancer, I'll stand corrected. Until then, stop aiding the "men's rights" movement. This, after all, is a campus where a man murdered his wife.— January 29, 2018 7:57 p.m.

Which court, Bauder? I mean, that can't be too hard to find, even from Colorado...— January 29, 2018 7:49 p.m.
SD City College instructors plan protest
Not one person, Bauder could name, who this "struck a chord with." Not a one.— January 29, 2018 7:47 p.m.

That happens every day. Half the ballot measures in this city qualified because petition gatherers gave incomplete descriptions of their measures to passing students. Every single day on City's campus you can find someone collecting signatures for one thing or another. They just don't usually have a Colorado-based reporter carrying water for them.— January 29, 2018 7:46 p.m.

There will be no rebellion, Bauder. You speak like someone on the International Socialist Organization payroll. Anyway, the instructors are underpaid, but that doesn't give them the right to take away from classroom time to whine about their own problems, nor distract students on campus. Mostly, though, I'm just sick of this shitty reporter getting paid for doing a half-ass job "reporting." Come to San Diego, Don. You might learn something.— January 29, 2018 7:44 p.m.

Damn straight, Wabbit. No one put a gun to their head. They have agency. If you don't like it, leave the room.— January 29, 2018 7:42 p.m.

Oh, and as for adjuncts... No one forced them to take a bad job.— January 29, 2018 7:38 p.m.
