Lots of what ifs. I don't know enough about incendiary projectiles to say for certain that one could smolder in a dry, grassy location without starting at least a small fire much earlier. Especially when considering the high the day before was only in the seventies, the dew point was in the sixties and the humidity in the seventies. Possible? Maybe Improbable? I would say yes. Likely? I would say no. I'm curious as to what incident(s) may have occurred previously to cause your conjecture about the possibility of a cover up.— June 24, 2015 6:56 p.m.

Pozi, Something I'm curious about. As I recall, the Seahawks played at Husky Stadium for a couple of years after the Kingdome was demoed. How was Seahawks attendance when they played there? Kind of ironic that the Huskies played at CenturyLink while the renovation was being dome on Husky Stadium a few years ago.— June 24, 2015 3:47 p.m.

don bauder A fire starts midday, on a grassy slope next to an I8 access road, on a day when the temperature was 20+ degrees above normal(96 is still the all time high for that date) and is ruled probable arson. Now from my point of view, for someone to say that they wouldn't be surprised if there was a cover up of the real reason doesn't indicate skepticism. To me it indicates someone takes a cynical view that the fire department would tell the truth. Or they just flat out won't believe anything that the fire department would say. I know 30 yrs is a long time, but let me ask you this. I know that I can still remember the fire in vivid detail. don bauder That is true. However, one difference is that Zanzibar is not a city, but would be more properly referred to a region in east Africa. But of course the main difference is that Zanzibar, unlike Boston, Rome, Hamburg and now Paris, has not launched a bid to host the 2024 Olympics. don bauder If one owns properties in a particular state and collects rental income from them, then the state is very interested in seeing that they get their share. If you earn any income at all in California, they take interest. One simply need to ask any athlete or actor or recording artist who performs in California how much tax they have to pay. I'm curious. Since you are in the employ of the Reader and the Reader is headquartered in San Diego, are you required to pay taxes in California, even though you don't maintain residence there?— June 24, 2015 1:40 p.m.
