Seaside Courier debuts in North County
I would rather just not vote for the guy.— November 9, 2013 2:23 p.m.
La Mesa council term-limit proposal inches forward
When Madrid runs again, and assuming he wins, he can go celebrate in Pete's Place, or some other fine La Mesa watering hole. Hope he gets a driver--one that doesn't drink this time.— November 7, 2013 9:49 p.m.
Dumanis funding plea goes for the jugular
Bonnie is starting to panic. If she hadn't run for mayor, she might have been re-elected as DA. See ya, Bonnie.— November 7, 2013 12:53 p.m.
Dark times for Hoover High School football
Patrick Henry is mentioned in the above story. They have had lights for over 25 years, and were mainly paid for through donations, so they should have no bearing on this story--although it would be nice if they could put shields on them to direct the light downward to the field instead of all over that area of San Carlos and Del Cerro.— November 7, 2013 12:49 p.m.
Faulconer claim not "flawed" — it's a blatant lie
Don: The Manchester U-T managed to disprove that theory in the last mayoral election by showing that DeMaio had a double-digit lead over Filner. If Aguirre could just somehow pull the greatest upset of all...— November 7, 2013 8:53 a.m.
Labor-backed poll shows Alvarez catching Fletcher
It looks more like Fletcher is catching Alvarez, as Fletcher continues to sink in the polls.— November 4, 2013 2:27 p.m.
Manchester buys more San Diego papers
Some of the posts were flattering, but they all went away. The article itself is getting harder to find.— November 3, 2013 6:16 p.m.
Manchester buys more San Diego papers
Another story in the Manchester U-T is singing the praises of Dougie getting an award from the Nice Guys group--and has also had the 6 comments for the story removed and the comment feature again disabled. Dude is getting way too sensitive.— November 3, 2013 2:31 p.m.
Manchester buys more San Diego papers
It appears that this story has magically disappeared from the main page of the Sign On San Diego website. You would have thought a story that was such big news (for the Manchester U-T, at least) would have stayed visible for at least a few days. Maybe someone there has seen The Reader's numerous comments on this story, and they are hoping it just goes away. Those boys really do have some thin skin.— November 2, 2013 2:03 p.m.
Manchester buys more San Diego papers
Don: I don't remember the other comment, but I don't think it was too nasty. Apparently the Manchester U-T is getting a wee bit sensitive.— November 2, 2013 1:56 p.m.
