U-T San Diego key backer in "jobs tax" defeat
I know it was in add space. Just being a smart-a**. I do hope the free add space didn't displace any actual news, since Dougie's U-T has so much of it nowadays.— April 17, 2014 9:47 a.m.
Former mayor Bob Filner and city face new lawsuit
The gift that keeps on giving...— April 15, 2014 3:29 p.m.
U-T San Diego key backer in "jobs tax" defeat
In a related story, the Manchester U-T raised their per-copy price by 50 cents. I'm sure that will soon pay off Dougie's contribution.— April 14, 2014 11:11 a.m.
East Village: Hot hot hot!
I'd love to see a list of all these new eateries, then check the same list in 3 years and see how many of them are still in operation.— April 10, 2014 12:18 p.m.
Appeals court orders U-T San Diego publisher to pay up
Keep appealing, Dougie. Build up those legal bills along with the original settlement.— April 3, 2014 1:57 p.m.
Ted Leitner has on-air meltdown at SDSU game
Don: Anything for a buck--I'm sure he still needs them.— March 17, 2014 12:58 p.m.
Ted Leitner has on-air meltdown at SDSU game
Leitner is not a good play by play guy; never has been IMO. I don't know why he has continued to be employed for so long here--I know he has improved the economy for numerous divorce attorneys through the years. I won't listen to him on the radio unless I have to. He always drives me nuts, as the crowd is cheering about something, and he is rambling on about something else. Ted--just tell us what is happening in the game.— March 17, 2014 11:51 a.m.
Ted Leitner has on-air meltdown at SDSU game
Ted Leitner has been in broadcasting for many years in San Diego, which obviously makes him a legend in his own mind. Leitner has always had a habit of blabbing about something while there was action going on, on the field or court. I did gain a bit of respect for the love he showed for Jerry Coleman at the ceremony at Petco Park after Mr Coleman's passing, but he pissed it all away again when he goes off on arena security guards in Las Vegas.— March 17, 2014 9:46 a.m.
Manchester rumored to drop Austin hotel
Dougie--if you need money, you could always sell the Manchester U-T. It might still be worth a few million...— March 13, 2014 4:18 p.m.
Cowboy Doug
It's too bad Dougie can't just sell the U-T, pack up, and move to Texas.— March 12, 2014 12:15 p.m.
