How Much is that Doggie at the Shelter? Nada!!!
BTW-my senior cocker "Sully" is one of the best dogs I have ever had. he is trained perfectly and has the best personality! Fantastic dog-excellent choice. These dogs deserve a home their final years.— June 12, 2010 1:24 p.m.
How Much is that Doggie at the Shelter? Nada!!!
I adopted a 14 y/o cocker spaniel 3 weeks ago, his fee was $120, PLUS I had to sign a waiver due to his age. ALL seniors should be allowed free adoption, or reduced fee. I was going to adopt another senior, blind and had health problems, but the volunteer shelter employee was so rude when I raised the fee waiver I said forget it......— June 12, 2010 1:22 p.m.
City Wants Assessment of Qualcomm Stadium
Boise State is a huge addition, but the MWC is still the weakest conference in the NCAA, SDSU really pulls the quality of it down in the gutter.....Someone said SDSU needs to be in the PAC-10 and I almost died laughing....SDSU should be limted to competing against Hoover and Lincoln high schools until they bring up their game.— June 11, 2010 7:36 p.m.

The Mountain West conference is a big fat joke......— June 11, 2010 7:01 p.m.
Day-by-day slog for a San Diego job
with their colars turned up and their pink Le Tigre shirts halfed tucked in, trying to trend out the fashion that once died in the 80's ========= You may not believe this, and I am ashamed to admit it, but I still dress like this when I am on the prowl for babes!— June 11, 2010 4:37 p.m.
Here Are More OC Register Alums in U-T Management
If I were Light, I would send salesmen to large car dealerships and demand the dealers sign agreements to purchase $3 million a year in advertising. If the dealers didn't sign, I would send undercover reporters into the dealerships to have their cars repaired and then publish a barrage of stories claiming the dealers ripped them off for bogus repairs. I would also contact hotel owners and tell them if they did not agree to place ads in the paper, the paper would publish articles about the bed bug infestations at their establishments. ========== LOL...funny stuff B.— June 11, 2010 4:33 p.m.
City Wants Assessment of Qualcomm Stadium
Holiday Bowl both play there =============== I still remember Barry Sanders playing in the Holiday Bowl when he was a senior at OK State.— June 11, 2010 4:31 p.m.
Day-by-day slog for a San Diego job
I would bet bartending pays a higher wage than the mean or median in San Diego.....but the donwside is your job revolves around serving, conversing and hanging out with, for the majority, drunks. I could not do the job, for those reasons.— June 11, 2010 8:44 a.m.
Paean to Jerry Dominelli
It may be cushy, but for me it would not be satisfying ============== I can be content with/on very little, I guess b/c I am used to it.— June 11, 2010 8:40 a.m.
Day-by-day slog for a San Diego job
Dick’s Last Resort opened in the Gas Lamp in 92, but I thought they closed that location, but don't know for sure. I had been in there once and did nto care for it. It sounds like you had a taste of the San Diego sunshine tax-tons of quality people for every job opening who will work for less than market wages just to stay in San Diego. Glad it worked out for you.— June 10, 2010 8:21 p.m.
