U-T Editor Brings in Former O.C. Register Pals
speaking of dullsville, has anything like this gone down in SD yet? ================== The LA Probation Dept., like most gov agencies, is run so pathetically it never fails to amaze me with the misconduct that goes on. This is standard for most gov agencies IMO-although not at this level of malfeasance. BTW-the probation dept., like all of them across this state, are part of the law eneforcement "family", and also get those infamous multi milion dollar 3%@50 pensions. Yes, you are paying millions of dollars in pension costs these employees that steal and engage in fraud while on the gov job- They busted a bunch of LA DWP employees a few months back going to strip clubs and getting drunk on the clock-yet no one gets fired. The SEC lawyers caught looking at porn all day on their ocmputer-none were fired. Gov, it is a mess.— June 16, 2010 5:22 p.m.

Apparently Reader Admin and CityBeat disagree with you about the need for booting, SurfPuppy. And who am I to disagree with them? ;) ================ Sorry CF, I should have qualified my statement. I think certain statements and the ones who make them not only need to be banned, but must be banned. And why TOS terms are needed. Thankfully, most comments don't fall that low. Thanks for the chance to clarify.— June 16, 2010 5:16 p.m.
Here Are More OC Register Alums in U-T Management
You don't have to wear a red dress blogging on the Reader site. Best, Don Bauder ========= But you don't understand, refried LIKES wearing his red dress....!!— June 16, 2010 4:57 p.m.

OK... I also wish I was paid to blog, but that's wishing for too much =============== A dream job!— June 16, 2010 4:55 p.m.
Senate Panel Wants Investigation of SEC "Revolving Door"
Doesn't the Constitution have something to say about judges being bound by the laws passed by Congress? ====================== hahahahhahaa................very funny a2z!!!! Please, it is too early in the evening to bring me the funny! Judges will stretch and bend the law however they want it to fit. If they cannot stretch nor bend the law enough to get the ruling they want they will simply IGNORE it. Or worse, they will lie under oath-commit perjury- to get the result they want. These things have ALL happened to me in court. I have caught two judges in red handed, black and white, straight up perjury. Did they lose their law license? No. Did they lose their judgeship? No. Were they disciplined in any manner whatsoever? No. In fact I ended up having to tell both of these losers off, it was the only consequences they faced-and they tried to make me look like the bad guy for doing that (yes, I was paid a visit by the FBI just for telling off a dirty judge, under the pretext that I might be a “danger”). Like all areas of professional responsibility and ethics, the standard has been lowered.— June 16, 2010 4:53 p.m.
The Big One -- Maybe
Yeah, Chicano Park is one of the coolest places in San Diego....It gets me upset when the taggers paint on the murals! Rachel Ortiz works right across the street (or used to), I forgot the name of her group, I think it is called Barrio Logan, but I did some busienss there once. Rachel had a beautiful secretary (and why I rememebr here!!), I won't mention her name in public though :)— June 16, 2010 1:09 p.m.

There is no need to boot anyone-this isn't any fun when everyone has the same point if view. What would it be like without the bickering....dullsville!!— June 16, 2010 1:03 p.m.
The Big One -- Maybe
Nope. Next to the bay close to the Coronado bridge By CuddleFish ============= Oh, cool. By Chicano Park??? ..... or the Coronado side? I really like the murals at Chicano Park. I used to live in Coronado too-but it was back when they had that $1.20 bridge toll-and that $1.20 toll got real old! http://www.laprensa-sandiego.org/archieve/april23…— June 15, 2010 11:21 p.m.

Government friends? I think a meeting between you and JW would not be so peaceful. ====================== JW/JF take my objections against their public pension scams personally. I don't think they have the ability, or are able, to distinguish between my criticism of the pensions and not them personally. But I have no control in how they think or process points of view, and I don’t try. If they were to meet me personally I don’t think the exchanges would be like they are here in an impersonal exchange of hyperbole words.— June 15, 2010 11:14 p.m.

Other Reader commenters are there apparently because it's a convenient place to take shots at me. Again, so it goes. ================= Refried-you can't be an Internet posting legend without taking the hits! I have never posted there, mainly b/c I never knew of CB. I might have to weigh in from time to time @CB. I am glad Don likes me here and I feel good posting here at the Reader. Even though a few of my gov friends take shots at me here, I think it is healthy for them (and me) to let that steam out and stand up for what you believe in-even though we are at odds. I try not take these things personally. I know if we (me and my adversaries here) were to ever meet in person we would probably get along despite the differences we have over certain personal/politcal views. So, carry on friends. Oh-Tell PistolPete I hope he is doing good.— June 15, 2010 5:31 p.m.
