Belmont Park Predicament Not Amusing
did you live on the beach side or the bay side of Mission blvd? ============== I lived on the beach side, one house in from the boardwalk. Beach, Boardwalk, Alley, my house. As for Santa Cruz, I do not recall their management team running the Giant Dipper. I think the restoration was done through private funding raised by locals-I know the developer did not fund the restoration-which was mainly refurbishing some of the wood and a total paint job-and the paint-WOW, it turned out beautiful. I grew up in the Bay Area and know the Santa Cruz coaster very well, I think the Giant dipper is just as good. Both are the only roller coasters on the beach front in CA-although Santa Cruse tries to claim they are the ONLY one with a beach front coaster.— November 12, 2010 7:47 a.m.

My advice to both you idiots, finish your G.E.D., get a bus pass and come out of your mothers basement long enough to take a class at Grossmont College. In other words: GET A LIFE ========================== That confirms it, we need to get hitched- I cannot go thru my dull life w/o you sweetay!— November 11, 2010 7:09 p.m.
THOUGHTS OF MY DAD ON VETERANS DAY
I lay the blame on your Dad-he basically abandoned his family. You don't run out on yor family, especially kids, no matter how hard the situation is or becomes. You die for them if you have to. You die for your family before you run out on them.— November 11, 2010 6:53 p.m.
DeMaio Blind to One Thing: Greed
I could have my sisters and cousins and aunts take phony names and swamp my blog with posts. ============== You mean use sock puppet accounts!!! Say it aint so. They say a number of people on here use sock puppet accounts. I use just one (at any given time-since I have changed names out of boredom in the past).— November 11, 2010 3:54 p.m.

I am a lesbian and fully commited to freeing women like Barb from the clutches of the animals or so called husbands like barb has married. My partner and I have an equel relationship based on mutual respect and love for one another. Women who marry men who verbally "belittle them" aka abuse them like David does to Barb, should spend a day with me, I would teach them how to treat a lady. ========================== I think I love you!— November 11, 2010 3:52 p.m.
Remember the Economy of September 2006?
I am a creature of habit-that is why Ii have not switched browsers-they All HAVE SPELL CHECK... EXCEPT IE!!! I know you can download a program for IE for spell check, I just don't know why it is not on it out of the box.....— November 11, 2010 3:50 p.m.
Belmont Park Predicament Not Amusing
I'm glad this was posted because I would not have seen such an article in the local press. More importantly, the beach community must be informed to fight for the survival of Belmont Park and the economic well being of their community. ===================== Are you serious?? The beach community NEVER wanted a SHOPPING CENTER at the beach, never, ever. I too will be very happy when these clowns lose their shirts-that is the karma they get. Ask former SD clowncilman Mike Gotch how that worked out for him when he stabbed his own district in the back (I think Gotch died a few years back though-don't recall because he was run out of town to Napa).— November 11, 2010 2:04 p.m.
Remember the Economy of September 2006?
Yes, it is working for me.....I would like a spell checker too if possible! (since we're working on things)— November 11, 2010 1:55 p.m.
