i can't understand how anyone would stay for 10 mins in a casino environment..it's so slot machine dense it looks like a mechanical forest ================ Yeah, I have never gotten it when it comes ot slot machines-which is where 80%-90% of the money comes in. Just makes no sense to me. I make it a rule to never gamble though (even when I LIVED in Las Veags I never set foot into the casinos), so who knows.— February 21, 2011 8:57 a.m.

It’s important to understand that the goal of all private businesses is simply to make money. They have little concern for public good. Their only obligation is to their stockholders, whose goal is to make money. ======== All private businesses need to make a profit to survive, but that is NOT their ONLY goal, or even the main goal. The victim identified Lovett, 58, during a street-side lineup. =========== I don't know if its right to say 'street side linesup.' There were no other men to complete this lineup. The man was identified while standing on a sidewalk surrounded by police. ================== Wow, I was just going to post this and your comment was already here. This was not a "street line up", b/c there is no such thing as a street line up. A line up is a panel of people, usually 6, usually at the jail or PD station, and the victim ID's who they think the person is. What happened here is referred to as a "show up" and it always involves the person identifying the supposed perp, usually while handcuffed, surrounded by police and cop cars and no one and nothing else there. It is a notorious and very unreliable method for ID'ing a person and should be banned, just like the "6 pack" mug shot ID's should be banned for abusive conduct by the police.— February 20, 2011 12:12 p.m.

Visduh, Don, I'm with you all the way-If I had my way I would close them all down. The worst part is the Indians don't pay taxes, no sales tax, no property tax, nothing, then we get stuck supporting the gamblers thru social services becase the rent and food money is in Barona's pockets.
