Oops! NFL team official slips up and tells the truth
I had no idea...... Shows how closely I follow Football, even from my old stomping grounds. Candlestick sucks eggs, the wind in that area is awful. I would tear down Candlestick and erect wind turbines.— February 14, 2013 3:06 p.m.
Appreciation: Castle Freak
HUGE!!! fan of Joe Mantegna. One of the BEST movies ever made, starring Joe Mantegna, was "Searching for Bobbie Fisher", just an incredible sleeper movie.— February 14, 2013 3:04 p.m.

Been ALL over the LA Times since last night. She is getting a sweetheart deal like nothing I have ever seen before in my life. A DEFERRED prosecution, which meas it will never have been deemed to have happened if she stays clean for a short period of time. Unbelievable. Rob a 7-11 for $50 and you get 25, rob a charity and you get no jail, and a deferred plea deal that goes "Poof" in two years.— February 14, 2013 2:16 p.m.
My funky valentines
OK, I am having to go with my old timer favorite Joan Blondell, she was SO HAWT in her prime! If Selena Gomez were a decade older and had never dated the Bieb she would be in contention too. Audrey Meadows takes my clean up spot.— February 14, 2013 1:17 p.m.
Oops! NFL team official slips up and tells the truth
#And with the 49er’s new stadium in Santa Clara, Is this a done deal????? They had a deal for a new stadium back in 1995 when they played the Chargers in the SB, and even had approval to pass bonds, but it fell apart.— February 14, 2013 1:12 p.m.
Hit-and-run driver gets 2 years State prison
#But does it make any sense? Not that I can see. We simply do NOT have the money to lock people up for the time frames we have listed on the books, simple money problem, THAT is why they have early release. He is probably going to "local prison", aka "realignment" where he will do his remaining days at County Jail, which are OVERCROWDED too, and are currently giving 10% reductions in addition to the 50% 4019 reductions. The cost for each inmate is $150/day, that is nearly $5K PER MONTH, 90% of which goes into pay/comp of the HS educated sheriff/prison guard and their $250K annual compensation.— February 14, 2013 1:07 p.m.
Ex-Sanders aide gets $6,000 a month for Balboa Park centennial role
Hmmm.... me thinks Fred and Randy are not the best of friends.— February 14, 2013 12:54 p.m.
