Decaying Property Attracts New Tenant
Yeah, I thought Presidential Limo operated out of that place......I wonder if they are still in business and how long ago that was-probably at leats 15 years aho......— June 17, 2011 11:52 a.m.
Wave of Support for Belmont Park
You obviously have never lived at Mission Beach, Belmont Park was NEVER EVER a "residents of Mission Beach fear that the park will once again be a stomping ground for transients and addicts." No more than it is today. The beach areas-ALL OFTHEM-attract transients, and that is a simple fact of life in SD. And any resident that said that (I doubt it is true) is either a liar or ignorant of the area.— June 16, 2011 2:38 p.m.
No Beach Parking Fees
So it's O.K. to violate the overnight parking rule, so long as you only do for three days. ============== You obviously did not read my comment or lack the intelligence to understand it; "The few that do allow overnight parking limit it to 3 days max." Pay attention ot the part where it says teh "...few that do ALLOW overnight parking...". BTW- the public lots in South Mission Beach are gated and locked at 10PM (??) every night, so if you park there you're not driving your vehicle again until 6 AM the next morning. . I am more than willing to pay to park at the beach, downtown, or anywhere else I want to go. ============ You can pay all you want, but you're not forcing everyone else to pay just because YOU want to pay. Since you will be a DIRECT beneficiary of that parking tax I can see why you want the tax. You want every new tax you can get because you're collecting 20 times the tax on the back end with your pension that the tax funds.— June 16, 2011 2:33 p.m.
Decaying Property Attracts New Tenant
Didn't Presdiential Limosine lease this place for a long time?????? BTW-who is "Ben" from Lee and Assiciates????— June 16, 2011 2:23 p.m.

No Beach Parking Fees
Although I support free beach parking, the number of people who live in their campers and cars at the beach is not small. ============ These people live in the surrounding neighborhoods, like PB. Over night parking is prohibited at MOST but not all beach and bay parking lots. The few that do allow overnight parking limit it to 3 days max.— June 15, 2011 10:42 p.m.
Wave of Support for Belmont Park
Probably the city has a developer who thinks it is time to start building condos again. I can't think of a likelier place ============= Why would the city sell the best land it has for develepment??? For a one time cash infusion??? The city does not sell prime land, they lease it on long term leases, like the Mission Bay Aquateic Center, all the land the Bahia, Hyatt and Catamaran. All leased. The Inn at Torrey Pines is also leased land. In fact that white elephant shopping center next to the Hyatt Islandia, as you come into South Mission Beach is ALL city owned......— June 15, 2011 10:40 p.m.
Wave of Support for Belmont Park
Tom Lochtefeld does NOT own Belmont Park-it is owned by the City. Belot is also subject to the CA Coatsal Commission for any work done there. The key word here is PARK, NOT shopping center. There should have never been a long term lease on this property to use it for large scale retail uses. Thank you Mike Gotch you loser dork.— June 15, 2011 1:07 p.m.

Can someone BAN Brittanicus from posting his spam here. I like comments that are thought out and genuine, not "cut and paste" spam pieces from someone with an agenda.— June 14, 2011 9:47 p.m.
