Coronado Police Have Your [License Plate] Number
The dork cop said my bumper obstrcuted the license plate and wrote me for the obstruction of the electronic reading device section 5201g. The judge didn't do jack (well, exceot dismiss the ticket). I submitted a post judgment motion asking for sanctions against the cop because when a cop signs a traffic ticket saying you were breaking the law they do it "under penalty of perjury", read the ticket next time you get one-that made this cop a liar and a perjuror. The judge refused to accept the motion! So I had to resubmit the motion and told the judge if he refused it again I would file a complaint with the commission on judicial performance, and then he finally took the motion but denied it. These devices are very big $$$$$. LAPD has them, and I hear many are on undercover cars, not the marked units. They also have these set up at the I-5 and I-15 check points-look up when you go past them and you will see this large cameras mounted overhead, they scan and also record your license plate.— August 20, 2011 5:41 p.m.
Coronado Police Have Your [License Plate] Number
LOL....believe it or ot I actually got a ticket from a cop who claimed to have one of these devices on his car back in April, and the ticket was for obstruction of a license reading device, Vehicle Code section 5201(g). The problem was the dirty cop did not actually have one of these electronic devices on his car. And he lost the case in court.— August 20, 2011 4:08 p.m.

SD Unemployment Rate Rises to 10.5%
CA's U-6 UE rate has been at 22% for the last 28 months (it might even be 30 months by now, lost track). But as bad as that 22% U-6 rate is, Detroit has/had a 48% U-6 UE rate, that is hard to imgaine. Remember that Detroit has a very large minority population- African American and Middle Eastern, and I would think the rates for young males, 18-25- are well over 50%. So the U-6 UE rate in Detroit, MI. is WELL above the Great Depression U-6 rate of 37%; http://www.economicpopulist.org/content/u3-and-u6… Given that Detroit was one of the largest industrial cities in America just 30 years ago, where the poor migrated for decent jobs, that is down right shocking. . http://www.economicpopulist.org/content/u3-and-u6… .— August 20, 2011 8:09 a.m.
New Calif. redevelopment law could stop Chargers stadium
You sound like Aguirre's mouthpiece. =================== It is funny how a difference of opinion causes such discourse with the Chargers-I suggested Tyce could be Jerry Clown's mouth piece earlier in this thread for the so called bullet train b/c of my preceived spin from him -now he is returning the favor.— August 20, 2011 8:03 a.m.

And hoteliers have to turn down many potential customers for that week. =================\ Another wild card calculation, how many of the rooms woudl have ALREADY been occupied without the SB-good point that I missed.— August 20, 2011 8 a.m.

"Fan" is short for fanatic. ============== Tyce is definelty fanatical about his Chargers-as I am, I just won't give billonaires free money off the backs of the poor and middle class.— August 20, 2011 7:58 a.m.
Billy Crystal Ready to Return as Oscars Host
But you're trying to compar Billy to talk show host and feaure length movies! He may or may not be good at either, and may or may not be as good at being a tlak show host as Letterman (whoom I find one fo the WORST), but that is not the point here, we are talking OSARS! And IMO Billy sets the bar very high as Oscar host. In fact the funniest skit I ever saw was the one where he spooefed almost ever major movie of the year-I think it was 1998 b/c I remember Titanic and The Postman a Kevin Costner flop.— August 19, 2011 4:59 p.m.

If the NFL says a Super Bowl brings $400 million to a city, the realistic amount may be $40 million ================ Don, I just ran the numbers. If the SB brought 100K attendees to town, then they would have to ALL spend $4K each to make it to $400 million. They stay what-2 days on average, many would just fly in for the day, a very select few hundred maybe thousand or two from the media would arrive earlier and stay maybe 10 days max. Even with inflated hotel room costs, double the normal average rate, 10 restaurant meals, and other various costs, I just don't see the average attendee spending anything near $4k. I would bet $500-$1,000 total for two days per attendee is about right, which would be $50 - $100 million. No way the average person would spend $4K, no way. Interesting number to estimate though.— August 19, 2011 3:36 p.m.
