No, the main school building is long gone, and that second pic is a pic of what looks like portable classrooms. The one building that was there 100 years ago, is the one that is west of the train shop on Park Bl and El Cajon, across the grass-it was apart of the normal school but was no where enar the size of the orignal building, more like 1/10th the size. I need a screen shot and can cirlce it if I find time....the building did not appear to be in use when I was looking at it about 10 years ago.— August 31, 2011 12:33 a.m.

Oh, and btw...my alpha female humps plenty of dogs too. She does it when my other dogs play. Some guys say, "Why don't you get him neutered?" I say, "She's a girl and she's been spayed." Has nothing to do with hormones, it has to do with showing who's boss. Goldsmith Quietly Drops DROP Appeal
During many of the years since 1996, but not all, SDCERS earned substantially more than the rate of return. For example while SDCERS was paying 2.3% this year, it earned 23.8% (as of June 30, 2011) tens times as much as it was paying to active DROP account holders ================= And while SDCERS was paying 8% in 2008 it lost 35% of it's value, or a loss 20 times the amount it was paying into DROP. / Mr. Goldsmith, in looking out for the City taxpayers, made a common sense decision after the Cal Supreme Court rules against Orange County's litigation against it deputies. San Diego litigation mirrored some the Orange County case ================= GoldenHair was not looking out for taxpayers, he was looking out for his public union buddies, the ones who bought and paid for his election. DROP is a scam and should have NEVER been allowed, it was a give away plain and simple. Do the courts, particularly the judges, ever suggest that people exhibiting such symptoms be evaluated and tested by competent medical professionals ==================== All the time. I thnk that wioll happen here too; "Instead, superior-court judge Runston Maino ordered all parties back for a hearing in one week, during which the judge will decide if the defendant needs a mental competency hearing." I must say the behaviour of Pines is certainly a bit on the edge. I remember back in grad school we had this very nice girl who had a mental break down, we were all students far from home, and her family needed to get their act together and take her home for treatment, which they finally did AFTER it was laid on all her friends the first week or so. Before it became SDSU, it was called a "Normal School." It used to be nearby. ================== SDSU was called the San Diego Normal School, and was a teaching school. The original buildings from the turn of the century still stand and are located where the SDUSD HQ's are, at the corner of Park Bl, Normal Street and El Cajon Bl, where they all meet. The old Normal School Buildings are on the north-east corner, west (across the grass) from the guy that has the train shop (Frank the Train Man"??) if you know what I am referring to. It out grew the site and SDSC (San Diego State College) was built on Montezuma Mesa in 1935-37 (as I recall). Back then SDSU looked NOTHING like it does today.
