She didn't steal the Belgian Malinois in Escondido. She rescued It.
Witnesses could bring evidence that may shine a light on character. == Allegations of misconduct are not evidence, just allegations. Nothing more. Allegations-unproven- never come into evidence. As I said, unless you are CONVICTED no evidence like that is coming in. Even if she did have priors, if they are over 10 years old they STILL won't come into evidence, they are "stale".— November 2, 2011 11:02 p.m.

"Did she have any prior incidents on her police record that would indicate she might be a thief?" What do you mean by "prior incidents"???? Unelss she was actually CONVICTED of a crime nothing prior matters. Allegations and trials that result in acquittal mean zero in court, they don't even come in as evidence.— November 2, 2011 10:17 a.m.

DUI Checkpoint Targets SDSU
Ponzi is 100% correct on the right to skip out on, or turn around, from a check point. I think he is also right on the check points NOT being legal and valid for anything other than a DUI check point. When that law was challeneged on constitutional grounds the Courts ruled that taking drunk drivers off the road was a legitimate act of the police powers for the public safety which out weighed against the harm of a search and seizure. It was NOT argued nor decided on chekcing to see of drivers were licensed or not. I smell a lawsuit.— November 2, 2011 10:05 a.m.
