Income chasm widens in San Diego
No, I was laughing at "The Great Monitor" title because that clown sent me a stooopid private messege threatening to ban me when I made a sarcastic comment that one of the dorks posting here under the scam for muni $$$ for that Escondido baseball stadium was "Jeff Moorad", who would obviously not be posting here, as he is current the owner of the Pardes. I guess the "The Great Monitor" did not know who Moorad was or did not udnerstand sarcasm!— November 7, 2011 8:17 p.m.

Yes, Manchester IS Looking at U-T
Platinum Equity could sell the Mission Valley HQ for millions and move what is left of the UT to El Cajon, Lakeside or National City and come out millions in the black and STILL OWN the paper.— November 7, 2011 8:03 p.m.
Dig A Hole: Cynthia Myers, One of Russ Meyer's Dolls
Cynthia Meyers was so SWEET in Beyond the Valley of the Dolls. And yes, she had some serious curves. But Beyond the Valley of the Dolls had tons of Playboy hawties in it, including my all-time fav Edy Williams who had tons of small parts throughout the 1960's (waych for her as a waitress in one of the Batman episodes!!).— November 7, 2011 7:55 p.m.
Murals in the Barrio
Barrio Station is not "exactly" across the street from Chicano Park, but about a block away, it is the local community center and has played a BIG part of helping the kids out there for decades, I am surprised you know so much about the park and do not know of Barrio Station....go in and cherck it out, take some pics, find out what they're up to and report back!!!!!!— November 7, 2011 2:02 p.m.

Income chasm widens in San Diego
"*The missing letter is "o". The Great Monitor admonished me to "Watch your mouth!" in ANGRY RED LETTERS and wouldn't let me post that word that had nothing whatsoever to do with the politically incorrect one." LOL!— November 7, 2011 9:07 a.m.

Unconquerable Chickasaw Nation, Oklahoma
Wow, this was a great read. I love it because I would have never known about the Chickasaw Nation nor their OK cultural center without seeing this in a San Diego weekly. I would love to visit a place like this, and having never been to OK this would be a godo reason to make the trip...... TY for the story. I now have a future goal for a mid west vacation....— November 7, 2011 8:57 a.m.
