Council to Consider Kessler Settlement
MSU has had a great football team the last 2 years-so has San Diego State. MSU beat Michigan a few weeks ago, when Michigan was still unbeaten (Michigan now has the SDSU football coach from last year).— November 12, 2011 10:23 a.m.
Council to Consider Kessler Settlement
If you are only getting $200K, and I would bet the lawyer will see more than half of that-then go to TRIAL. Nothing to lose really, because less than $100K in the jeans after this much brain damage is pretty much nothing in my book. Oh, wait, I forgot, Kessler will have to pay taxes on the $100K, so take out $40K and he will only have $60K in his jeans, go to trial wimp.— November 12, 2011 10:21 a.m.
Council to Consider Kessler Settlement
$200K is way too low. Especially in ligh of how much the City spent to defend up until this point. Go to trial, roll the dice, the chances of getting less than $200K at trial are small, the chances of getting 7 figures is much higher. Go teach KFC Sanders a lesson. A 7 figure lesson, because the pocketbook is the only place these clowns feel pain.— November 11, 2011 9:14 p.m.

Jack and Mary Goodall, the former being the CEO of Jack in the Box.— November 11, 2011 8:48 a.m.
Ocean Beach Apartment Fire Victim Speaks Out on Arrest
Dale Akiki was in jail for over 2 years before he was acquitted. He sued, and as I recall the City settled out of court for $2 or $3 million big ones.— November 10, 2011 11:23 p.m.

The lawyer from the $10 million OC case, Shawn McMillan, is from San Diego, call him. http://members.calbar.ca.gov/fal/Member/Detail/20…— November 9, 2011 10:53 p.m.

There was a little payback. The Dale Akiki case is what cost good ol' Ed Miller his job as DA. == The Dale Akiki case was without a doubt the WORST case of prosecutorial misconduct I have ever witnessed in San Diego County. The Jim Wade and the Michael Crow cases come in second and third. But Akiki is the worst. It was disgusting. Ed Miller got what was coming to him. He should have had his law license revoked. The worst part of the Dale Akiki case was that Ed Miller prosecuted him because he was friends with the CEO of Jack in the Box, whose grandson was supposedly one of the kids molested. There was NO CASE, ever, but Miller pushed ahead at the URGING of his CEO Buddy. Money made the call in the Akiki prosecution, not justice.— November 9, 2011 10:51 p.m.
Predator Maker Linden Blue Blasts Barack Obama
"For a guy who's been sucking the tit of federal funding (taxpayer largesse) for his military-industrial enterprises, Linden Blue really ought to be more circumspect." "Note to "We Are the 99%" Occupy folks: stop by the offices of these disgraceful moralizing sanctimonious Hall of Famers to burn a little purifying sage and clear the air with a little drumming. And don't forget the middle finger salute." Excellent points!........but....Stop by their offices-how about THEIR HOMES!!!!!!!!!!!— November 9, 2011 4:45 p.m.

Dumb cops and even dumber socail workers make for a bad combination. Fortunately there is a cure for their stoopidity; http://taxdollars.ocregister.com/2011/04/21/count…— November 9, 2011 8:54 a.m.
