Suit Against UCAN Charges Document Destruction
Man is this turning into some weird issues. The destruction of documents is especially troubling. There is simply no reason to do such an act when they KNEW litigation was imminent. If this sees the inside of a court there are going to be some major problems related to this, and someone could end up in jail.— March 9, 2012 3:29 p.m.
All Charges Dismissed in Case Stemming from Ocean Beach Apartment Fire
she is enjoying life again with her son and attending law school full time. == She should start her law career right here. I had my first major lawsuit as a student in LS my second year. I got my clock cleaned, but I learned the ropes real fast and knew MORE about the law, litigation and lawsuits before I even graduated LS than 5+ year associates graduating years before me.........— March 9, 2012 2:38 p.m.
All Charges Dismissed in Case Stemming from Ocean Beach Apartment Fire
Ask the Dirty D.A. about how that all is playing out for her with my own case. == Dumbass is getting her clock cleaned in the sommers case. The case is in Judge Hayes courtroom at the federal court on Front Street. Judge Hayes is pretty damn smart...............— March 9, 2012 2:35 p.m.
Hate & Extremists Groups Continue to Grow
Expose hate and the Southern Policy Law Center will call you a hate group. === The Southern Policy Law Center has done a ton of good, at least they did many years ago. For those of you who do not know or remember Tom Metzger, the white supremacist here in San Diego County (Fallbrook), he were sued by Morris Dees who runs the Southern Policy Law Center and Metzger lost everything he owned to Morris and the SPLC. But they have gone so far over the top the last 15 to 20 years with their labeling of anyone who has a gripe as a "hate group" that you cannot really take them seriously anymore.— March 8, 2012 11:28 p.m.
Neighbors have been calling the San Diego police for four years
The city you live in has zoning laws. Using your city government to enforce those laws is one example I can think of off of the top of my head. I'm certain there are others. == If you think the city will enforce zongn laws and thais the ticket you're dreamign refired. / They wound up jailing Al Capone for tax evasion, that was clever and creative. == The difference is Al Capone was public enemy #1, not a low level dope addict.— March 8, 2012 8:22 p.m.
Port District Approves Impound Fees
Those hit with an impound fee who wish to appeal can pay an additional $55, which is waived if the appeal is successful. If not, both fines must be paid. == Just another scam to line the pockets of $200K per year port authority cops, who are the highest paid in the region. They cannot require a $55 appeal fee if you're broke, it must be waived.— March 8, 2012 2:03 p.m.
Former Oceanside P.E. Teacher Back in Court for Probation Violation
It's not as if we don't have room in the jails. == You don't know what you're talking about if you think we have jail beds. We do not, that is a simple fact, and it is getting worse every single day. State prisons are 85% over capacity and that is why Brown is now sending low level non violent offenders to county. County is at 200% capacity in LA, and in San Diego it is over 90%. In LA you do 5%-10% of a sentence. In SD they are giving early kicks equal to 10%. Our jails are way over crowded, with the majority of the offenders there for basically nothing drug crimes.— March 8, 2012 10:26 a.m.
Neighbors have been calling the San Diego police for four years
For example, the amount of time and paperwork involved with arresting the bike thief, and he's back out on the streets almost immediately. = It can take up to 48 hours to process through the jail system, I doubt anyone arrested in SD is out on the street before paperwork is finished.— March 7, 2012 8:02 p.m.
Ocean Beach Woman Seeks to Reclaim Child From CPS
11.The most important thing not to forget is the severe trauma inflicted upon the child by taking him into "custody." That's where the REAL CRIME is. == That trauma is so real Twister-thank you for pointing that out.— March 7, 2012 7:10 p.m.
Ocean Beach Woman Seeks to Reclaim Child From CPS
The system is broken, they cause 100 times more harm than good. Did you hear about the Orange County social workers who pulled this sh*t? They lost a $5 million lawsuit, $12 million after the appeals were over and interest was added in. But they don't care-they don't pay the liability the taxpayer does; http://taxdollars.ocregister.com/2011/04/21/count…— March 7, 2012 7:09 p.m.
