The Marine recruiter in El Cajon loved me
javajoe, that was intense, if you wrote that you are one of the smartest persons I have ever come across.— March 19, 2012 9:40 p.m.

Pirate Radio did NOT last-and I was surpised, because I loved the music they played. KLOS was always the go to station in LA for good rock-Gold's Gym Venice would only play KLOS. Golds Gym Pacific Beach always played KGB and 91X.— March 19, 2012 12:10 a.m.

Do you remember "Pirate Radio" back in the early 1990's with, Scott Shannon. It was like nothing else in So Cal. It was an LA Station but picked up in parts of SD. I remember when Shelley was not with Dave and Chainsaw- and I forgot how they hooked up, it was Dave and Chainsaw and then Shelley was with another team and somehow she ended up with Dave and Chainsaw........— March 18, 2012 8:04 p.m.
Oceanside Councilmember Has Harsh Words for Mexican Mafia During Presentation from Laura Duffy
They communicated pretty good before cell phones, but shutting down the cell phones would go along way. Since the cell phones come mostly from prison guards and some from other employees, that is where you have to enforce the rules. If the gov were ethical-we know it is bought and paid for by the unions-they would do random searches of the employees with a zero tolerance policy, you get caught and that is the end of your job.— March 17, 2012 8:05 p.m.
Southwestern College Votes for Pay Increases and Campaign Donation Cap
This shows terrible leadership- and how far out of touch these public administrators are.— March 17, 2012 3:06 p.m.

When I worked with her at SUHSD she was running Independent Studies and did a wonderful job there-I am making no comment on her current record, only my opinion of her when she was my boss back then, and let me tell you, there was so much incompetence at SUHSD and public education in general that it was refreshing to have someone who did a good job..— March 17, 2012 3:04 p.m.

Very true-rating mean everything. Remember Burger and Prescott on KGB, big ratings, then 91X stole them and they TANKED. I used to like Kati Manor and the Breakfest Club on 91X.— March 16, 2012 11:30 p.m.

Trustee Jean Roesch, who will be up for election in November, voted against the motion. == Dr Roesch was my boss at Sweetwater UHSD when I worked there-loved her. One of the best I have ever worked with.— March 16, 2012 11:25 p.m.
Southwestern College Votes for Pay Increases and Campaign Donation Cap
The most contentious item on the agenda was a pay increase for administrators. == Typical gov employer-giving pay raises when the economy has been in the toilet for 5 years and the private sector has been taking pay cuts. / / The district’s proposal was to add steps on the pay scale for vice presidents. Some current vice presidents are interim, so the district suggested the increase to attract a better pool of candidates. == Better pool??? You could cut the pay by 50% and get a better employer pool. I am so tired of hearing this garbage from gov employers it makes me sick.— March 16, 2012 11:24 p.m.
Oceanside Councilmember Has Harsh Words for Mexican Mafia During Presentation from Laura Duffy
The Mexican Mafia is a PRISON gang, not a street gang. They control the prisons, and once they can controlthe prisons they can control the outside. And since they are already controling the prisons there is no way you can shut them down. The outside gangs may come and go, change names and leadership, but they will always be controlled by the MM.— March 16, 2012 4:39 p.m.
