Southwestern College, Ashford University Ink Transfer Deal
“These agreements are great for all schools and students involved and makes for an almost seamless transition into a four-year university,” said Ashford academic partnership director Mark Young in a release. They're great for one party and one party only Ashford, they are AWFUL for the student. We have SDSU right here, at 1/10th the cost of Ashford, why are these dorks at Southwestern pulling this scam??? Only one plausible explanation-KICKBACKS.— April 25, 2012 9:46 p.m.
Appointment Trend Continues In Chula Vista Elementary
This is pretty hard to believe. Seems like a lot of back scratching's been going on in this district. The "back scratching" goes on in ALL districts, and basically every part of government. Why do you think Ed Brand got his fat butt canned at San Marcos after just 1 year??? He was tyring to back scratch his buddies into their teacher positions when the Board wanted the best possible candidates.— April 25, 2012 9:44 p.m.

Filner Talks About His Alternative to Prop B
Filner says that those city employees who have the six figure pensions are all management types, while the average city pensioner draws around $29k per year Every cop and firewhiner in this city pulls a $100K+ pension and they ARE NOT "management types". The AVERAGE pension for a 30 year employee is $68K, try leaving out all those who retired in the 1970's and the ones who only worked for 5 years when you do your "averages" next time. Nice try, but that public employee spin won't work here, we are wayyyyy to smart to let those whoppers go unchallenged here Andy.— April 24, 2012 11:40 p.m.
Filner Talks About His Alternative to Prop B
The 401(k) plan has been proven by independent analysis to be more costly to the city over the long run than keeping the recently-reformed pension plan currently in place. LOL...if Filner actually said that he is off his rocker and is a SURE loser before this race even starts....— April 24, 2012 11:37 p.m.

County Unemployment Rises in March
The only jobs being created in America are Walmart retail jobs and pizza delivery driver, both paying peanuts. There is not now, has not been, and will not be in the next 5 years a recovery. Obama will be the first president in US history to serve 2 terms of recession, stagnation, deflation and inflation in gas and food prices. Private sector US employees have not seen NAY rise in income in 12 years, since 2000, add in inflation and their incomes have had a negative decline of 30% or more.— April 23, 2012 10:58 a.m.
