Lawyer Steigerwalt Suspended a Year
And that is why this clown should LOSE his law license and go to jail.... He PREYED on the poor and the weak, those least able to defend themselves.— May 22, 2012 9:04 a.m.
Lawyer Steigerwalt Suspended a Year
Don, you are of course correct-ALL of the issues listed by you point to a scam. BUT the #1 RED FLAG is non stop constant TV advertising. It costs a fortune and the only way it can be covered is to short change the clients. That is how and why Sam Spital was put out of business (Spital was the #2 TV Advertising lawyer in America before he was sued for malpractice).— May 22, 2012 9:03 a.m.
Chula Vista Elementary Schools Seek Funding, Hire Consultant
If they need "sprucing" and I do not say they don't, then it should come out of the states funding via Prop 98, where nearly 50% of all general fund taxes already go, and put a freeze on teacher salary and benefits which already average $108K per year for a 37 week work year, 36 contract hours per week. $80 an hour.— May 22, 2012 8:20 a.m.

Cameraman Found Guilty of Obstructing Officer
LOL...jury trial a WHOPPING ONE DAY SENTENCE!!! And if he had not been in the can after his arrest it would have been only a fine. If he was on probation he was under a court order to disclose that. If he was NOT on probation- whole new ballgame- the cop would have had a federal civil rights lawsuit against him, because JC was correct, you are under NO legal obligation to ID yourself to any cop unless there is reasonable suspecion you have commmiteed a crime (Terry v Ohio!).— May 18, 2012 2:10 p.m.
Department of Corrections Wants Control of Its Medical Facilities Back
Actually that is Jerry Brown doing the shipping. That is not the problem, the problem is sentences are too draconian and too long for minor offenses and we have our jails and prisons FULL, and it is going to only get worse. If you even pull out a gun in a robbery, never even fire it-automatic 10 years in the slammer-that is an out of control law-it's only purpose is to get dorks elected into office. We dont need to have sentences that long.— May 17, 2012 9:54 p.m.
