San Diego, one of the five richest cities in the U.S. Wow. Details?
Burlingame is in-or close enough to- Silican Valley, th cost of living there must be sky high.......— October 8, 2012 8:39 a.m.
Party with Centerfolds
I would like to see the Monkees. Davey is a tremendous loss, but Mickey, Peter and Mikey, too cool. I didn't knwo this but Mickey was a child star. He played on a series about a traveling carnival as a 5 y/o, forgot the name of it (Circus Boy??) but it was on TV a few months back, they were running all the old episodes, I think AMC, before the Rifleman.— October 8, 2012 8:36 a.m.
SD Gas Prices Soar Past 94-Year Record
This spike in oil/gas prices happens every 2,3 or 4 years, and EVERYTIME it happens the Feds, usually Difi or Boxer, or some Congress Clown starts an "investigation", and that is the last you hear of it. In fact yesterday Difi made this EXACT same claim, she is starting another "investigation" into the spiking-and it will end like the other 10 or so she has started, with a big fat nothing. Folks, we live in a banana republic, get used to it. As someone pointed out, we have not had a free market in oil and gas since the 1950's. Standard Oil was busted up into 39 different companies over 100 years ago, and it reformed into an oligarchy in the 1950's, where 4-6 major oil companies cornered the market-much like Standard did at the turn of the century, only Standard Oil did a lot of good in addition to their price fixing.— October 8, 2012 8:32 a.m.
SD Gas Prices Soar Past 94-Year Record
Higher gas taxes, higher ANY TAXES will fill public employees pockets, and that is it-it will never benefit the whole as they should. Look where we are today, gov mechanics making $100K PLUS salaries, gov parking lot attendants making $75K salaries, gov meter aids making $100K in total comp, gov life guards with $200K salaries.......sorry Don, the taxes being paid today are going 90% to the benefits of a small, tiny sliver of the state-public employees, while everyone else is stuck with the costs- without proper food and nutrition, going homeless, w/o healthcare, without basic necessities of life while GED educated cops, fire whiners and prison guards are top 1%Er's today. We disagree on this one, vehemently I would say .....— October 8, 2012 8:26 a.m.
San Diego, one of the five richest cities in the U.S. Wow. Details?
That can be said of most cities in AZ, and indeed most sunbelt cities where "snowbirds" abandon cold weather states for the winter....— October 7, 2012 4:10 p.m.
SD Gas Prices Soar Past 94-Year Record
We should 86 these dumb blends, and at the very least in emergencies ignore them and truck in Petrol from other out of state sources.— October 7, 2012 2:45 p.m.
La Jolla Villa up for Auction
LOL...us usually on ythese top of the market sales they are all cash deals.— October 7, 2012 2:42 p.m.
La Jolla Villa up for Auction
It's an auction in name only. These so called home auctions have reserves that are the bottom line. List price is $13 million. No way. It is a beautiful home with ocean view frontage, but it has no beach to it, just the view (and cliff). I love the home, but how many people can truly use a home theater with 26 seats??????— October 7, 2012 2:41 p.m.
San Diego, one of the five richest cities in the U.S. Wow. Details?
Don, they wont rent space in Cleveland, they are a bunch of hypocrites.— October 6, 2012 10:55 p.m.
San Diego, one of the five richest cities in the U.S. Wow. Details?
I would live in Grosse Pointe and the surrounding areas, no problem. In fact if money were no object I would buy a home there and live there part of the year....BTW the middle of the state is just like Cleveland, overcast 29 days of the month from Oct/Nov through March-and that is not an exaggeration.— October 6, 2012 8:31 p.m.
