Big people talk about issues; small people talk about people
It's amazing that Don Bauder thinks that Donna Frye, Cory Briggs, Vince Hall, Toni Atkins, Todd Gloria and Lorena Gonzales are all in cahoots with Papa Doug. Methinks poor old Don is blinded by his extreme ideology and has become unbalanced.— July 13, 2013 5:12 p.m.
Big people talk about issues; small people talk about people
It's really disgusting that Mr Bauder is defending sexual assault just because he's an ideological ally of the Mayor. Same goes to the SD Democratic Party leadership, and Todd Gloria, etc. They're all saying about sexual assault: "nothing to see here, let's move along." Reprehensible and inexcusable. But then again, they've been covering for Filner for years.— July 12, 2013 5:27 a.m.
Free Vargas road trip rolls into Ritz-Carlton Half Moon Bay
This stinks of quid pro quo. Although no one has ever accused Vargas of having integrity.— June 20, 2013 8:07 p.m.
Landslide of mailers in Chula Vista for one 80th district assembly candidate
You can tell Lorena Gonzalez has sold out to special interests. Lots of out if town money and lots of PAC money. On the other hand, Steve Castaneda represents the local people. And the smear campaign by gonzalez is just disgusting.— May 20, 2013 3:24 p.m.
New lawsuit challenges Todd Gloria's pledge to open government
Todd Gloria is first and foremost a partisan political party hack. That's the problem with these professional politicians is that they swear allegiance to their special interest groups and political parties. Gloria is the definition of partisan.— May 17, 2013 10:06 p.m.
In just one day, labor-council chief Lorena Gonzalez collects nearly $20,000 in campaign contributions
It's easy to raise money when you sell out to the special interests!— May 14, 2013 1:37 a.m.
Teacher's Association and State labor union donates $100,000 to committee against Steve Castaneda
The far left activists are all lined up with gonzo. Everyone else likes Castaneda.— May 13, 2013 10:02 a.m.
Southwestern College appoints new board member
Mission accomplished. Now all of the SWC board members are political activists from the same clique. There is no professional, racial, political or intellectual diversity on the board. This goes against the grain of what a board of directors is supposed to be. Political activists scratching each others backs. But we've come to expect this type of behavior in the South Bay school districts.— May 1, 2013 1:43 p.m.
San Diego Gas & Electric rates are nation's highest
Utilities in Ca are the most regulated in the country. Taxes and fees are highest in the nation. Can't build new power plants to keep up with demand. Ergo cost of doing business is comparatively highest in the nation. But, always enjoyable to read comments from the gadflies and other conspiracy nuts.— May 1, 2013 11:15 a.m.
Vargas backs bill that would allow big bank bailouts
Juan Vargas has abandoned his job as Representative of the people, and has spent 99% of his time raising money for himself and his buddies and engaging in quid pro quo political money favors. Don't be surprised if he is busted by the FBI some day. He's very unscrupulous.— April 5, 2013 11:08 a.m.
