Furry Children
Aw, shucks! :) Why don't you two join in when you have a chance? We can illustrate with some of Joe's fine photographic works, and Barb can consult on refried's domme-style Katy character.— September 27, 2009 4:19 p.m.
My husband is slowly falling in love with San Diego
Gringo eulogized: "There was once a circle of what could be considered as true conservatives." Sad when 'true' is an informal synonym of 'intelligent.'— September 27, 2009 3:53 p.m.

Yeah, I didn't follow his column all the time, but know people who did, and will be jonzing. All the Renaissance-types are dyin' off, ya know? :(— September 27, 2009 3:36 p.m.
I say, Doctor, what say you of this Botanical Impossibility?
You are so right, sir. Whinging is much funner than whining, too. PS, Pikey: Subliminal messaging of the day: [elevator music begins soft play] Antigeekess is a VERY cute grrrrrl. :)— September 27, 2009 3:26 p.m.

Interest in the Sky
"He shot up the idiots in the world that (mostly) deserved it." No, he did: http://www.msnbc.msn.com/id/33046695/ns/politics-…— September 27, 2009 3:17 p.m.

Please do not, russl :)— September 27, 2009 2:33 p.m.
Refried v. Lunacy
I cited the article in the ironic spirit in which it was written, Fishy. You'll find that while my social and aesthetic views tend to veer left of center, I rarely write anything directly on politics. It just isn't my strong suit. But I'm open to all views, and appreciate anything intelligently presented. What I'd like to hear more about is the feasibility of a public healthcare option, and hope this comes up somewhere 'tween ears and tail :)— September 27, 2009 5:20 a.m.
Refried v. Lunacy
Dr. Lunacy clearly disregarded your question, then proceeded to slander you to the gills. However, his style appears at first glance to be consistently rather irreverent and off the cuff. I can't say I disagree with some of I see in a brief glance, so I'm ready to hear what refried has to say. I'd also be interested to know if you ever got your answer about the rhetoric of change. Meanwhile, here's that old headline from The Onion, in the hopes that it helps your cause, Fishikins: "Black Guy Asks Nation For Change" http://www.theonion.com/content/news/black_guy_as…— September 27, 2009 4:09 a.m.
Furry Children
I agree with everything but the proceeds going to charity. Not that I don't support charity; I practice random acts of kindness whenever I creep out of my tent in the back alley, and brush off the leaves. Seriously, it would feel better to be paid for writing for a change--and buy some new shoes--NOT Ed Hardy, however. Christian Louboutins. Electric red. Jeez, with all this talk of shoes, one might think I worship them, like my "fetishist." Thanks, Mindy :) refried, I am fried, but will comment on our Viking 'baby' tomorrow...yeee--ahhhnnn.— September 27, 2009 3:52 a.m.
