9/11 Flashback with a Friend
I remember you started to go into it on one of JB's threads. You think the towers were wired for bombs, and then refried was saying something about the way the towers fell. I can't watch any videos, but can certainly read, whenever you have time to post the info. One thing I'll throw out there: To most strange coinky dinks, I bring up the concept of synchronicity--in short: What do the coinky dinks mean to us as individuals? How do they add up to a narrative that tells more about us than about the coinky dinks? (Up to you to decide whether or not I just like writing "coinky dinks") :)— October 2, 2009 12:21 a.m.

"I started coming here because I liked SpliffAdamz_'s way of getting under people's skin." You hate Halloween? It is the best time of year to exercise your imagination, and manifest a really hot alter ego! Oh yeah, 'spose that's what the blogging is supposed to be for :) I liked Spliff a lot. There was really no malice in his rhetoric, just the frustration of a man trying to point out some social imbalance, and he let us see how he himself fell into the trap of bigotry, too--whether or not he learned from it. I was serious when I told JB that we could learn something from Spliff, and I hold to that. Geez, it feels like a eulogy. Lallaw and now Spliffy...— October 2, 2009 12:14 a.m.

Well, this is certainly a big curve, whether it be a learning curve or a fastball :) At any rate, I'm willin' ta play, and will always tell you if you have halitosis or if your Ro-tel dip is a bit salty :)— October 2, 2009 12:05 a.m.

And now for a bland comment on the weather: Is it just me, or is this turn of weather effecting something in everyone? It can't be just a coincidence that PP and AG just posted within minutes of each other, out of nowhere. That time of year is upon those of us whose favorite holiday is Halloween, and who love that little bite in the air. PP, you may consider that we have no seasons, but if you wrinkle up your nose and forehead and concentrate really hard, you will start to sense the oh so subtle change. Pike is going to plant some liquid ambar trees around, so that should help us all see the difference.— October 2, 2009 midnight

re: #37: "because the poems, even if they were just being workshopped there, were considered published." Underhanded! Personally, I don't care whether or not the Reader considers my stuff published or not. It is really just for me--and for you people, and whoever else wants to read.— October 1, 2009 11:55 p.m.

re: #29: "Sometimes honesty is brutal and sometimes life doesn't teach us to accept the truths in life we may need to better understand ourselves and where in time and space we as humans are headed. I'm ALWAYS up to learn new things." Well said.— October 1, 2009 11:52 p.m.

Ahhh. That's the first time, refried. It should be more special.— October 1, 2009 11:50 p.m.

"You're perfect AG! Smart and beautiful." AHHHGGG. It is the apocalypse! Grab your chairs, everyone! PP said something-------------------NICE! "Yonder" by itself. Does it ever sit by itself? You could be perverse and call this blog "Yonder." Feelin' the LOVE tonight, peeps. Duh duh ding ding ding duh ding. "Yooouuu go to my head, and you whisper like a haunting refrain...."— October 1, 2009 11:49 p.m.

"Only a fool would plageurize (sic) something you've entered in an internet weblog because the fool would almost certainly be caught." And the grammer/grammar issue, too. I feel like my students should be listening in :) Oh, and Pete: I will only call you a sociopath when you express socially deviant things, and only the socially deviant things that are racist, sexist, or violent. I truly hope that this big ship of a blog you're taking off on will help heal your soul. Don't mean to be corny, but I have experienced a couple of things very close to what you have on your list, and know of what I speak. Good luck, and clearly, you have some readers waiting. Be honest and be kind; the challenge is to do both :)— October 1, 2009 11:35 p.m.
