You mean the Silence of the Lambs reference? Nah, I got that, and was adding to it the meal prepared and served to a guy of the guy's own brains. However, I'm tired tonight, and it's possible you slipped something else past the miasma that is my current cognitive ability :)— October 10, 2009 1:50 a.m.

re: #7: I think Pete is chasing his non sequiturs with more non sequiturs, for good measure :) Importantly, I remember the dancing animal group at 3:24 from my childhood. What was that show called? Banana something?...It was like the Monkees, but fronted by a lead gorilla instead of Davy Jones...— October 10, 2009 1:48 a.m.

Yes, I think that was Adam's menu, along with sauteed tete d'idiot.— October 10, 2009 1:39 a.m.
He Got A Nobel Why?
Well, I did ask for it :) I just heard #74 recently somewhere--best one so far.— October 10, 2009 1:22 a.m.
He Got A Nobel Why?
Not if the clause no longer applies, no. And we have better ways to deal with our problems than with violence--well, you'd think we would realize it--finally [sigh] I need a good joke about now. Got one?— October 10, 2009 12:58 a.m.
He Got A Nobel Why?
Pete, I'm not a fan of Saul Bellow (more refried's territory?), and am also not a big fan of aphorisms, unless they are very aptly applied to something. The problem with say, the quotation of Jefferson about spilling blood is that it is outdated, like a lot of religious documents, and unfortunately, some of our founding documents.— October 10, 2009 12:49 a.m.
He Got A Nobel Why?
He probably announced this to the bleeding head of a bear he'd just needlessly slaughtered, and his secretary wrote it down ;)— October 10, 2009 12:38 a.m.
So What Do U Think He/She's Talking About
Nan spoke both of god and Obama, so it's all good to go.— October 10, 2009 12:32 a.m.
Unfriendly skies
Thanks, Pete. I am nearly out of them this week ;)— October 10, 2009 12:27 a.m.
He Got A Nobel Why?
"California is like an artificial limb the rest of the country doesn't really need. You can quote me on that." -Saul Bellow Really, what is the point of saying this? And who gives a fig that someone 'said' it?— October 10, 2009 12:22 a.m.
