He Was a Man
The wiki link, Pete. It shall lead you to the multiple aforementioned pictures, which indeed do seem to depict the cryogenically frozen head of Mr. Williams. I have heard that it is less expensive to have one's head frozen than one's whole body--guess his children were on a budget when dealing with cult-like swindlers like Alcor. Only they know that they went against their father's wishes, and I hope his head haunts them forever (oh wait, the son is now a "head" too). Well, I hope his head has been placed next to his father's, which daily gives him "a piece of his mind!"— October 18, 2009 4:11 p.m.

magics, having met you and seen your beautiful face, I agree. Let's just consider that we live here eternally: "she is like India or Spain. Very hot, relaxed and convinced of its own beauty." :)— October 18, 2009 3:58 p.m.
Our Date With Hate!
Clearly, someone who has never in his life been involved in a social organization, and who has always preferred to jeer and criticize others' efforts from the sidelines--we now return to our regularly scheduled sports orgy...— October 18, 2009 3:47 p.m.

More male-bashing, sigh. Ok, marginally funny. But hey, I personally object to this characterization!!! "Between the ages of 35 - 40 a woman is like France or Argentina. She may have been half destroyed during the war but can still be a warm and desirable place to visit." This entire thing can be seen as very very sexist, Cuddle, something that you seem concerned about now and then. It depicts women as slowly deteriorating after a glorious youth. It is funny all the same, but just sayin' :)— October 18, 2009 3:36 p.m.

The swimming pool at Pickford Fair is mentioned in my book on the history of the swimming pool. Douglas Fairbanks and Mary Pickford used to row on it like a lake! Will have to look up and see if name of landscape architecht is mentioned... Speaking of things that spread, what is UP with Lourdes's stache and brows?? Not exactly a Euro thing--a socially inept thing to be sure! Madonna probably wanted her to look like Frieda Kahlo--oh dear, you look just like her--let's be proud as you are! Meanwhile, everyone is laughing behind her back. Sad. All it takes is a good eye and a pair of tweezers.— October 18, 2009 3:16 p.m.

"I thought you knew, dear. :) That's just plain mean!!!: I said this in all innocence and a bit of wryness--you mentioned it was on your amulet.— October 18, 2009 2:59 p.m.

I thought you knew, dear. :) I guess it is a 14-letter word for a four-letter word for the highest authority we can conceive. "Adonai" is interesting; I think of Adonis, but thought he was just a beautiful mortal, not a god. A good book for tracing out a lot of Western folkloric and religious meaning is The White Goddess by Robert Graves. I have it, but have not looked at it in years. AG may be more knowledgeable on this kind of thing...— October 18, 2009 5:04 a.m.
