Our Date With Hate!
No overthinking was accomplished. I figured you would sort out for me what you meant. And no, people I know do not tend to tell me that I overthink things. Thinking folk don't think you are. :)— October 19, 2009 1:59 a.m.
True Freedom: A Political Blog
“The answer to AIDS, hepatitis A, B and C, malaria, herpes, TB, most cancer and many more of mankind's worse diseases has been found. Many diseases are now easily controlled. More than 75,000 disease victims have been included in the field tests in Africa. Scientific clinical trials have been conducted in a prison in the country of Malawi, East Africa." Wow! (DR?) Jim Humble, inventor of MMS, is really onto something here, ya think? I've got a bag of TB syringes and a gallon of bleach under the sink. What else do I need, Mr. Humble? Some emu oil perhaps? Would blood orange-infused avocado oil work instead? Should we work a little babypowder into it, and make a paste? Then add the bleach? Sure. I understand. It's better if I buy it from your reputable company. After all, studies conducted in a prison in Malawi must have been scientifically AND ethically sound...— October 19, 2009 12:49 a.m.

South Park Cat Tales: #1
Adam, it was my pleasure, and easy as pie! Just kept two windows open, one for the Reader, and one of your cafewriters' page, which has general assortment of your pics (you're a hottie, btw, in case you weren't informed :). Just copied the link from the address bar, say, after clicking twice on Stella to enlarge her, then pasted that link into the message at the Reader site. What I can't figure out is how to do links to stuff that isn't online, like just pics of my cat I have stored on files on my computer. AG? Anyone? I'd love to share a photo of Mica.— October 19, 2009 12:25 a.m.

proverbial booger on my nose? Huh? I didn't think I missed anything Pete--except how the child-punching was meant to be a compliment. My response in #37 was not a question, it was an answer to your statement, which was in question form: "Wow, I don't know, Pete. But you should probably bring that one up with the shrink." Are you confusing your feelings of wanting to punch childrens' noses with my perceived lack of common sense, perhaps? "In fact,I've even done it few times myself. It wasn't so much as I was making fun of you as I was telling you have a proverbial booger on your nose." What is "it" here? This is where me no comprende.— October 19, 2009 12:10 a.m.

As a matter of fact, I totally forgot the thinly sliced raw red onion--and the raw garlic adds bite, but sure, why not play on the sweet and savory--AND hot? (though you've certainly opened that jar of jalapenos elsewhere tonight, dear :)— October 18, 2009 11:58 p.m.

"And SD, hun, 45 minutes isn't asking too much." Oh, right, you said "try to keep it under..." Missed that :)— October 18, 2009 11:53 p.m.

Will look forward to it, gringo! One of my favorite uses for mango--a twist on the traditional Italian caprese: Layer slices of mango along with sliced avocado, ripe heirloom tomato (orange, yellow, red, zebra stripe green), good buffalo mozzarella, and leaves of basil. Sprinkle with salt, pepper, minced fresh garlic, good olive oil, and balsamic vinegar, and marinate an hour or so. The colors are as delicious to the eye as the salad is to the mouth :)— October 18, 2009 11:44 p.m.

"The look signifies..." Whoa, refried really just went there, didn't he? Your exhortions to women to 'hurry up' might be honest, but are not at all sexy, refried dear, and this is probably giving CuddleFish a heart attack--her thread, so let's keep it cool folks--you can write whatever you want on my threads, fyi :) Back to eyebrows: Yes, I know it is makeup tradition (I grew up partly in OC), but I feel like all the young cholla girls have ruined their eyebrows forever! They don't grow back, ya know d— October 18, 2009 11:13 p.m.

Ditto, Joe--except I'll eat mango anyway, anytime. I hope Naomi responds with some more recipes. I've seen fruit glazes, especially cherry, used on red meats, like beef steaks and lamb, but not for fish. It seems logical that it would work for some fish dishes.— October 18, 2009 10:50 p.m.
