re: #6 and 9: Hahahahaahhhahaa!!! ! !!!! Ok, under control now, but gawd, people you are funny. :) Now: I need AG's frank and expert advice, unless anyone else has jurisdiction in this realm: Spurred on by GF's choking on a Snickers earlier, I followed suit and ate half a 100 Grand bar. Now, does that mean that I consumed: a). 50 grand? or b). 50 cents? A valuable noprize to the cleverest response :)— October 31, 2009 11:46 p.m.

"Planted seeds of list obsession in Readerblog Community." And list-obsession seeds were attempted to be planted in NHTBW, but did not take, apparently... NEXT MONTH: Pike provides SD with a blog on Robert Smithson's list manias.— October 31, 2009 11:32 p.m.

"N'erdowells." I thought this might be a five paragrapher on Roddy McDowell, and his failing screen career.— October 31, 2009 11:23 p.m.
Bloggé of the Day: One Degree of Famous
She begged off the singing, saying her voice was terrible for it. I sang what was my current favorite back then for her, "It's Oh So Quiet" by Bjork. Btw, the name of the place was "Bar de New York," but had nothing to do with NYC. Actually, Swank and I sat at a table and the bar alternately, drinking beer and talking about "Boys Don't Cry." She was starting on a new project filmed at Versailles-- "The Affair of the Necklace," I think it was called--with Jonathan Pryce. Still haven't seen that--heard it bombed. Anyway, I had just written a paper on "Boys Don't Cry," as it happens, so we discussed that, mainly. It wasn't the type of stilted convo you'd normally have with a celeb--more like a work or school deal. I don't remember enough to write an entire blog about it.— October 31, 2009 11:20 p.m.
Bloggé of the Day: One Degree of Famous
I am going to begin working on something soon--not sure if it'll be the celebrity story we all agreed to do (and only one of us actually did), or something else... I spent an evening in a Paris karaoke bar drinking and talking with Hilary Swank. Other than that, I have seen plenty of celebs walking around Manhattan, but just from afar.— October 31, 2009 11 p.m.
The Walk
There is a deep irony here in that people who are homeless are often forced to walk and walk, because stopping to rest can invite harrassment from citizens and the law. Cre0, I think you do have some idea of what your family and ancestors suffered, and can only hope that things will soon change for you.— October 31, 2009 10:56 p.m.
