SDGE Lobbyist Said to be Innocent, Reinstated
re: #98: No, you got the "Floozy" treatment :) #99: You got it. I called off the dogs--err, I mean, lawyers. :)— November 4, 2009 4:49 p.m.

Ah, so what you are saying is that there is already plenty of free press, then, and there is no need to clog up the neighborhood blogs? Anti-Christian, no, and nothing personal. Spam's spam. The blogs are for people to describe their neighborhoods from a personal point of view--period. If the line is not drawn, we no longer have a cohesive space for groups of blogs. This particular writer has also posted a non-religious promotion today. So your point was...?— November 4, 2009 4:44 p.m.

Dirty Laundromats
Ok, I guess I like one line: "I think it's funny that clothes suddenly become laundry before and after the event of washing."— November 4, 2009 4:35 p.m.
Good Try, Rock
The Rock church has a lot of problems with 'permission,' as they continue to illegally clog the Liberty Station parking lot, despite dozens of signs warning of no church parking.— November 4, 2009 4:33 p.m.

"Jimmy Jazz"--yeah, VERY local--I know that guy from City College about 15 years ago--don't remember liking his writing, though. Maybe it's improved since then? :)— November 4, 2009 3:50 p.m.
Shield for All
re: #6: Magics, that is an excellent post--most likely the longest I've ever seen from you. Well said, girlfriend :)— November 4, 2009 3:33 p.m.
Shield for All
re: #5: Yes, I'm pretty sure I got it right. Larry might have come back with the point about people not getting long term care--via Michael Moore, who was present only in brief clips of a previous interview--it was the lame format of having a live guest respond to a preinterviewed guest. Ron's other lame point was a semantic quibble--said that Moore's new film should be called "Corporatism: A Love Story" rather than "Capitalism..."— November 4, 2009 3:30 p.m.
Dirty Laundromats
Hey, what essay are you talking about, Cuddle? Posh Wash! That's great--tiny, congested--but convenient! Growing up, it seems like we never had a laundry room in whatever building we lived in, and it seemed to take all day to do the wash at the laundromat. I feel sorry for my poor mother hauling and sorting loads, thinking back now--I was an ungrateful wretch...can't remember whether or not there were tensions with other 'washers;' maybe women chatting too loudly--that always bothers mumsy :)— November 4, 2009 3:25 p.m.

Microsoft, it is so great that you had a good experience with your instructor. Now, could you please stop using the Reader neighborhood blogs to promote yourself? In good honest collegiate spirit, why not pony up the few bucks for some ad space?— November 4, 2009 3:11 p.m.
