Pause For Dramatic Effect
"AG, Fish, SDaniels, I know Pike sounds like the typical male. Just don't hurt him. He means well." Huh? Claws? Nicely earnest, Adam, but totally misread--on my part, at least :)— November 13, 2009 10:29 p.m.
Sacred Surf
#9 is a work of art! The public demands a Fred-and-Fumber blog!— November 13, 2009 10:23 p.m.
Loosening Family Ties
Yeah, I think the name of the game is preserving as much dignity here for all parties (not sure if Ghandi said that, too, but he may well have). Have an excellent Friday night, dear :)— November 13, 2009 10:05 p.m.
Alkalinity And Color Theory
Hee hee. There's our cover. And what should the title be? "Twin Flames?" ;)— November 13, 2009 9:30 p.m.
Can Feds thwart runaway exec pay?
...of course one must wear garden clogs, too, as much fertilizer is sown, or thrown ;)— November 13, 2009 9:23 p.m.
Can Feds thwart runaway exec pay?
Mr. Bauder's blogs make perfect (and usually comfy) seating, from which to survey all that is planted firmly on either side. ;)— November 13, 2009 9:21 p.m.
Alkalinity And Color Theory
re: #20: Here's the thing, AG. Today I put on my "Are Your Cats Old Enough to Learn About Jesus?" t-shirt, and walked over to the corner market. Guys comes up, and he is wearing the very same shirt. Sort of a computer geek type. We shared a giggle, and he drove off in his red Datsun or what have you, upon the bumper of which I noted an Onion sticker. I mean, what are the odds there? ;)— November 13, 2009 9:08 p.m.
Alkalinity And Color Theory
re: #18: I think these two sentences: "Oh, and the guy who was sitting next to me read it and didn't go away. On the other hand, he wasn't bothering me." should be the very first of a pulp novel we are going to write, entitled "Write to Ravish" or "Reading and the Rake." The cover is the most important part of this project: Warm beach, lurid sunset, and fiery, half-swoon embrace between Cuddle (swooner, t-shirt slipping off one shoulder), and "guy," of bare, heaving (of course, hairless) pecs and fierce tropical tan, as his eyes rivet to the print emblazoned across her fair bosom.— November 13, 2009 8:49 p.m.
Loosening Family Ties
"Somebody offers Brizzolara a "stay at our condo's guest suite?" Such facile kindness, so unhelpful, so misguided. That's it: I'm done." I'm glad you are done, monaghan (a familiar phrase) because you have no grace, and no heart. Best you stay out of it, then.— November 13, 2009 8:16 p.m.

re: #13: "Oh, and the guy who was sitting next to me read it and didn't go away. On the other hand, he wasn't bothering me." The very definition of romance! ;) re: #14: No one over sixteen of normal IQ has any business with that.— November 13, 2009 7:39 p.m.
