A Static Charge
Ok. I was wrong. As for looking up at the Chargeless from the cellar, you'll soon be joining them back where you belong. I just learned last night that the 1963 championship is severly tainted. If the Pats ever do get that asterisk next to their SBs,you guys get one for very possibly taking steroids in '63. Yeah. You read that right. It seems coach Gillman was practically shoving Dynabol down the players throats for 5 weeks in the pre-season. Now....I'm not a time traveler but for anyone to tell me that the steroid popping stopped because it was brought to the coach's attention,is just a blind homer and deserves 50+ years of heartache and sorrow. One tainted championship and a useless trip to the SB is really pathetic and slightly humorous.— July 20, 2009 2:02 a.m.

An education? $hiiiiiiiit! I'm no college valedictorian but I'm no dummy either. It's really hard to have any sympathy for anyone who goes to another country demanding change without trying to change their country first. This also includes the English"settlers"as well. Our new slogan should be: AMERIKA! Home of the Republican't and the Mexican't and land of the losing freedoms faster than a Asian loses $$$ at an Indian casino. As for bettering this country, sure. I'm a firm believer in total anarchy to straighten ourselves out. If Amerikans put half the effort into standing up for what's good about this country as they do when it comes time to vote for the next Amerikan Idol, this really would be the greatest country on Earth.— July 20, 2009 1:49 a.m.
Stickin’ It to the Litter
I mostly just flick the cherry off in an area I know won't burn and throw the butt in a garbage can. Without getting into a heated debate about smokers/smoking & non-smokers,I've noticed that even in inconspicuous outdoor areas that ashtrays are few and far between. I won't say I've never tossed a butt into the street but I try my hardest not to.— July 20, 2009 1:33 a.m.

Local delis(RB area):Either Chicago on a Bun or SiDNY's. Local chains:Like I said,Submarina is a Godsend. Best sandwich tasted thus far in the 4 years I've lived here:Lido's FTW! There's also a new place in Esco that I tried the other day. I believe it's called Big Bear Sub Shop. It's on El Norte Pkwy in the Von's shopping center. They have a pretty good hot pastrami.— July 20, 2009 1:29 a.m.

"Mexico is not a "third world country". It is an emerging nation. It is also the second largest trading partner of the United States of America." I'm not going to pi$$ on anyone's parade here. I'll be honest,I'm from Chicago and really don't give two s***s about Mexico or California. I just have to say,I about died laughing at gringo's above comments. Mexico might as well be a 3rd world country. The illegals take s***s in public bathrooms, wipe their nasty a$$es and toss the used a$$wipe in the corner. Somebody really needs to tell these guys that once they sneak across the border, the toilets actually flush. We can thank Clinton and NAFTA for just as cheap goods from Mexico. Hmmmm. China,Mexico or Thailand? Gee guys, maybe we should go back to only buying goods made here in the U.S.. Don't get me started on all the Mexicant's who wave their flag so proudly while thumbing their noses at the government who support their lazy a$$es. The old stereotype of the laid-back Mexican who works hard just to enjoy a cerveza in the shade is just that-OLD! I will admit however that the illegals I've worked with are harder workers than spoiled SoCal teenagers who wouldn't know a day's worth of work if it bit them in the a$$.— July 19, 2009 11:58 p.m.

The Submarina in CMR owned by the founder's son is selling the franchise and moving to Texas. After growing up with and working at the RB and 4S Ranch Subways,Submarina is a Godsend. I'm a Chicago boy born and bred and I KNOW good subs. We can all thank Bush for this mess.— July 19, 2009 11:17 p.m.

I don't think Spliff is a fan of any football team. I could be wrong, but from reading what he wrote,I didn't get that he was a Raiders fan.— July 18, 2009 8:01 p.m.
