I'm not racist until I'm given a reason to be racist. THAT'S human nature. Professor Gates was being a ni--er that night. That black Senator who refuses to show her badge at the Capitol was a ni--er that day. Harry Alford was acting like a complete ni--er the day he argued with Senator Boxer and Rodney King definetely was being a ni--er(although I do agree that the honkey cops had no right to beat on him & I'm actually proud of the blacks in L.A. rioting that day). It's for black America to live & let live. Quit looking for things that offend you. There are two things that offend me in this world-baby rapers and snuff films. Bingo highrockgirl! I'm not racist. I AM however not politically correct. I grew up in the 'burbs of Chicago yet spent many years with the gang drama on the South Side. I got to know the gangbangers as people. Once I got to know them,I'd be honest with them. I knew they weren't as stupid as people made them out to be. I'd tell 'em "Look....I know what you do is wrong(rape,murder,drug dealing,pimping,carjacking,etc,etc) but I don't care. I like YOU for YOU regardless of the drama that is happening in your life. I don't give a f--k who you rob or kill unless it's someone related to me." I did this because I didn't want them to judge me for the color of my skin. I played bones with them. I drank the 40s of Colt 45 and the Boone's Farm/Mad Dog 20/20 with them. I didn't ask them to not be themselves around me in case it offended my lily-white sensibilities. One time,I asked some friends on the South Side if I could bring some of my white friends around. They joked and said things like"There goes the neighborhood" and it was all in fun. We were sitting there on the front porch(about 10 of us) and all of a sudden,shots ring out about 200 feet away. The South Side gangbangers ducked and reached for their pistols,my white friends ducked and damn near s--t their pants and there I stood,scared inside but refusing to show fear. I've walked through Cabrini Green and lived to tell the the tale. My friends,both black & white thought I was insane(I kind of was but for a different reason then they were thinking). I figured 2 things would happen. 1-I'll get shot and killed by a high powered rifle or 2-they will think that I'm either crazy as a look or I'm a Chicago cop undercover(You DON'T want to f--k with a Chicago cop. Black,white,brown,yellow,red or blue. It's NOT recommended). I walked from one side of the ghetto to the other never really looking anyone straight in the eye. Spliff,if you act like a ni--er,I'm going to treat you like a ni--er. Plain & simple. I have nothing but love for all humans. But like a parent who loves his children,I will be strict to show that love. Not once did I ever tell my friends on the South Side to not use ebonics,smoke chronic or listen to lame rap music around me. I was vacationing in THEIR neck of the woods. I have many white friends. I have many minority friends. I tell them straight out,if you talk like a retard,I'm going to make fun of you like a retard. When I go their houses,they can say what they want.
