A REAL American Patriot
I can respect your viewpoints SDaniels but you're forgetting that underneath all our technology and educations, we're all still human. Human DO in fact band together and change things. They have choices. They can work through their problems getting no results OR they can murder their enemies. The "terrorists" of America like McVeigh and Stack are simply soldiers on the other side of the war. The war I speak of is the war of the ruling class Vs. the everyday peon. When humans are born, they're VERY vulnerable. They are looked after and most importantly, they are taught. I don't mean Harvard either. They are taught to survive. I joke about complete anarchy but I'm not too far off from believing that total anarchy is what we need to start over. This country was founded on a firm set of principles. Somewhere along the line, we let our government have what wasn't theirs to begin with. It's become a war. I'm not against living in society. I understand the need for certain laws, rules and regulations. What the government does is take those laws, rules and regulations and bend them for their own twisted purposes. People like McVeigh and Stack had the balls to stand up for those laws, rules and regulations and in their own way, say, "ENOUGH IS ENOUGH!!!!" I by no means condone the taking of innocent lives but being a soldier of life, I'm honest and fearless enough to realize that collateral damage isn't an option. It's a reality. I agree wholeheartedly that these men should have used their energy in a different way. But they didn't. I refuse to allow the memory of what they were trying to accomplish against the Feds to be forgotten. Someday, SD, you too may get ass slammed by Uncle Sam with no Vaseline. I hope nobody ever does but it happens. The ONLY people who have never been raped by Uncle Sam are the ONLY people preaching non-violence. I DO use the term B-I-A. It's because if I were a soldier on the battlefield, I wouldn't care what my fellow soldiers did in their spare time as long as it didn't affect my safety in battle. How does that Christian parable go...Judge not lest ye be judged & Hate the sin, not the sinner...— February 19, 2010 3:39 p.m.

LOL! I just meant that it might be new to her. I've been a MV fan since the mid-90's.— February 19, 2010 2:08 p.m.
A REAL American Patriot
For the record, SD, I don't condone nor advocate violence on anything that breathes. However, as a human who has the same thirst for violence that you do, I can't just bury my head in the sand and hope the bad stuff just goes away. Mr.Stack is NOT one of my heroes. Tim McVeigh and David Koresh are NOT my heroes. They do however possess more testicular fortitude than the Average American sheep does. I think about the federal government in the same light as my B-I-As but since I'm not a violent person by nature, I seek other ways of retribution. I can't walk the walk so I don't talk the talk. I have ZERO sympathy for any government agent murdered in cold blood. They choose their professions and take the risk of a hostile nation. If everyone thought like you, SD, back in the mid 1700's, you wouldn't have a country to call home. Remember, MANY patriots and English died for this soil. The Boston Tea Party will look like mere child's play when the next revolution comes. You WILL see men, women and children stabbed, burned, hung and shot in the streets when the next revolution comes. It won't be pretty and you may not be able to bury that pretty face of yours in the sand. It WILL be an us Vs. them kind of war. No party lines....just battle lines. The reason why the federal government needs to grow is because the Feds are on a massive power trip. Without guns, we're easily led like sheep. What the Feds always forget is, there are 10x as many Patriots for the cause than there are of them. This fall, the mid-term Congressional elections will be held. You're going to witness the systematic slaughter of the Democratic party and I'm going to be grinning from ear to shining ear. :-D— February 19, 2010 11:29 a.m.

Barb, the Leinenkugels are going to be hard to come across in this area. Ralphs, Albertsons and Bevmo USUALLY carry the bottled Sunset Wheat and Classic Amber. Those are the usual suspects trucked in from Wisconsin. The Bock 1888 and Creamy Dark you MAY find at Bevmo in a seasonal sample pack. The Summer Shandy is a summer only beer. Depending on where you go, you'll find other companies shandies. Your best best for find any kind of Leinies is going to be The Yard house and I believe Toronado. For my birthday last year, I found a few bottles of Sunset Wheat at a nicer dive bar here in Esco. I guess the tarbender's BF found it and had her order a case. Based on my list, I'd definetely try to sample the Blue Moon if you've never had it before. It's similar in taste to the Summer Shandy because of the hint of coriander. Be sure to get an orange slice too. If you ever see a variation of a beer called Berghoff's, be sure to sample that as well. Berghoff's is a Chicago classic. The brewery also had a sister restaurant by the same name but it closed down years ago. The brewery remains however. It's a German beer so it's best at room temperature. EDIT: Looks like I was wrong somewhat. http://www.berghoff.com/Berghoff/home2.html http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/The_Berghoff_(restau… The restaurant was re-opened.— February 19, 2010 11:13 a.m.

No problem. I'm including a random link in one of my comments everyday to turn nan on to new music. The video itself had nothing to do with my anarchy comment. I love watching old episodes of MV on DVD.— February 19, 2010 10:54 a.m.

I also highly recommend Lightning Brewery in Poway. After tasting the crap from Pizza Port in Carlsbad a few years ago, I kind of pooh-poohed local brews as being not worthy of a Midwest drunk like myself. Then I tasted Arrogant Bastard and SPA and I gave SoCal another chance. I found Lightning in a bottle at Bevmo shortly after discovering it one day at the Poway Brigantine.— February 19, 2010 1:29 a.m.

;-D I've only tried the bottled Arrogant Bastard(fitting that the words that describe Charger fans comes from a town 25 miles away) & Stone Pale Ale. The Brewery is close to me and I have an old customer from Shell who works there. I must go to a tasting sometime. I hear it's quite the place...— February 19, 2010 1:18 a.m.

We do. However, we're going to be paying through the ass one way or another and this guy at least tried to take out some I.R.S. agents in the process. He didn't just talk the talk, he walked the walk and for that, he gets the ultimate respect from me. I also view Tim McVeigh as another B-I-A. The ONLY reason his memory gets shat on is because he murdered children. Forgive me if I'm wrong but how many innocent children in other countries have been murdered by Uncle Sam in the name of "freedom"? I may be wrong for feeling this way and God forgive me if I am but if anything, no matter how you feel about me or my opinions, I'll at least challenge you enough idealogically. What's good for the goose is certainly good for the gander, right? Has anyone on here besides myself truly studied Ruby Ridge, Waco, TX or OK City? Everyone yelled out" REMEMBER 9/11!!!" long after they forgot about RR, Waco and OK City... Today's death of a Freedom Fighter will be a small footnote in history in the not too distant future. I've been predicting complete anarchy and chaos by the year 2020. It'll only get worse as the Mayan calendar evaporates...— February 19, 2010 12:36 a.m.

Lulz, diego! I'm off to the can and then the gas station for a pack of cowboy killers and I'll be doing so with an ice cold silo of Coors Light in my meaty palms. Haven't had a brew since Super Bowl Sunday.— February 18, 2010 11:35 p.m.
