The Fetishist
Nope. Never heard of it until now. I haven't really explored my BD/SM side.— October 6, 2009 8:54 p.m.

The lemmings thing is kind of weird. I've always thought that lemmings killed themselves. I guess it's true what they say....you really DO learn something new everyday. My favorite movie of all time is Leaving Las Vegas. Years ago when that first came out and I saw it,I could totally identify with Ben. This was right around the time that my"boyfriend" asked me to be his forever and I turned him down. I had just lost my virginity and wanted to explore. Had I known what life had in store for me,I just might've gone steady with him. He truly is the only man I've loved and there are times that I miss him and wonder what he's doing. The Bradshaw series was shown in prison. I thought it was very true and opened my eyes a bit. Maybe tomorrow I'll go to the library and get a library card...— October 6, 2009 8:48 p.m.

The BD/SM would get me to watch. Without that,it's just a French chick flick....lol.— October 6, 2009 8:30 p.m.

Another classic Phill Hellmuth rant, I just love it! http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=iWNDhuetD... I remember this! Phil got OWNED!— October 6, 2009 8:13 p.m.

:-D AS for the gay slurs, you have to understand that I'm very old school. Growing up,regardless of what had happened to you or no matter how sensitive you were, you learned that only you give power to certain words. I myself have always prefered the off the cuff gay slurs. Pillow biter(there's a vision and it's true because it really does hurt),Buttpirate(I like this one living here in San Diego) and polesmoker(pretty self-explanatory why this one's great). One of my sources of pride on the computer is the fact that I am a seasoned battle general in the art of flamewarring. I'm a keyboard cowboy! Hyaaaaaaa! Like Kramer always said"Giddy up!".— October 6, 2009 7:54 p.m.

Thanks. :-D I wish I would've been more agressive growing up. I avoided fights when I was young out of fear of being beat down, I avoid fights now because I'm afraid that there is a pure evil that will be unleashed the first time I swing at someone and it connects. I'm afraid that I wouldn't stop until I killed him. SD-I called out the guy out who emailed me. I believe Jerome was his name. My comment was deleted.— October 6, 2009 7:47 p.m.

That's the sticking point,SD. The sexuality. If you and I were ever to sit next to each other in a bar and strike up some small talk, you'd never in a million years guess that I like sex with men now and then. Most people don't have a clue and when they're lucky enough to get close enough to me for me to tell them, they're so shocked."YOU????" Yeah....me. I don't show it alot but I have a keen sense of sensitivity and sensuality. Take odor for example. Some of the things I LOVE smelling are fresh strawberries,Ici perfume(my son's mother wore this and drove me bananas),baby powder and burnt gasoline. A touch of feminity,a touch of innocence and a touch of the man in me. I look at the worlds odors as a painter's palette. I come from a VERY rigid, masculine background. The men were sesitive because of genealogy but otherwise lived life with a stiff upper lip. The only time I ever saw my father cry was when I told him what had happened when I was 13 and when his father, then mother died. Even if I was to fully confront my sexual demons and realize that I was indeed gay,I don't think I could live that lifestyle. I have nothing against it but there is ALOT I don't understand. Or maybe I'm just in denial about the LGBT community to mask my latent feelings. I've thought about it for years. I LOVE woman. They drive f***in' insane but I just couldn't picture my self living full time with another guy. In 20 years,I've been with 5 or 6 men and around 30 women. I have never persued a woman. Never. They've all come on to me. It might be a casual, yet hilarious joke while I was drinking,it could be my laissez faire attitude regarding life or it could be my smile. I've been laid more times just bein' me than the douchebag in the bar bragging about his(insert whatever you want to here). I sometimes wonder if living in the age of AIDS didn't curb my enthusiasm towards members of either sex....but there's always the guilt. I'm not even Jewish. :-D— October 6, 2009 7:37 p.m.
Health Care should be my Generation’s issue – but it is not
Any bill that includes the Public Option will be just like Social Security. I'm not against Social Security in theory. Some humans are stupid. Social Security just means that we won't be paying for them down the line. Unfortunetely for my generation who has spent decades paying into SS,we'll find out in 20-30 years that there is nothing left. Anytime the federal government starts screwing around with people's well being,I cringe.— October 6, 2009 7:12 p.m.
Health Care should be my Generation’s issue – but it is not
I never said it was a commodity but this is still a country with a free-market economy. This debate isn't about healthcare for the poor,it's about healthcare reform for the middle class. In a free-market,if you choose to overcharge your customers while there are other people out there who will provide those goods or services at a much lower rate, you're out of business. If product A costs $5.00 an ounce and product B costs $4.75 an ounce, which product will people buy? In a strong economy, the poor will still buy product B. In a weak economy, even the rich will buy product B. Instead of creating a system that encourages companies to compete with product A,the government wants to creat product b at taxpayer expense thereby double-dipping. Meanwhile, product A goes on strong screwing their customers. This debate SHOULD be about the monopoly on healthcare. Instead,it's about screwing the taxpayer.— October 6, 2009 7:09 p.m.

It's ok,nan. I learned about Maslow's LSA in prison while taking a required Victims of Sexual Abuse class. Although I took it to get out on parole sooner,it taught me a little bit about my thought process back then. I still have all the required paperwork at my parents house in Wisconsin. I was going to throw it away once I was home but decided against it. I figured if I couldn't use it,I might meet someone in life that could.— October 6, 2009 6:49 p.m.
