Hell is other condo owners
LOL, Mindy. :-D I sypathize with people who have HOAs. I can't really say, "Go live out in East County" because not everyone will be able to afford it. However, by knowing what you're getting into, you also have nobody else to blame but yourself. Complacency, unfortunetely, is continuing to murder "The Wild, Wild West".— February 23, 2010 9:09 p.m.

It's been a few years since I've lived down the street from Banker's Hill. Thinking back, I did see some pretty big houses. I just looked at the area on Google Maps. I guess you could say that there are big houses in the canyon. As for the piss ants, you're probably right.— February 23, 2010 11:20 a.m.

That's not true, SD. Don just proved a point with me regarding the economy. I saw his point and admitted defeat. Board DID get crucified. EVERYONE is entitled to an opinion even if it was highly inflamatory. It also is my way or the highway unless someone proves me wrong or I dig a little deeper and find out that I'm wrong. As for controversy, just like with publicity, there is no bad controversy. Useless controversy? I think that's a huge push there, SD. You're going to have to do better than that. As for building on something, not one person on here, including myself for obvious reasons, has discussed what happened in Oakland. It's almost as if Liberals are afraid to admit that they're wrong and the black man got a beat down he truly deserved from the white man.— February 23, 2010 10:59 a.m.
"Healthy" Expansion? For Whom?
You've got me on that point, Don.— February 23, 2010 10:51 a.m.

I just love how my comments get deleted around here. I guess CityBeat IS better in that respect..... :-| And it WAS an epic simile! :-D— February 23, 2010 10:48 a.m.

Define manifesto. My opinion is very different than what a manifesto is. Like I said, I'm just putting the link up. If people would like to discuss it, I'll throw my two pennies into the fountain. If not, I move on to the next story. Could be two minutes later or it could be two weeks later. Board got crucified on these blogs for putting his two pennies in. Why should I? My regular blogs will eventually return. I'd like to do more but time just doesn't permit me to. I'm actually considering re-tooling one of my laptops and taking it home with me just so I have my own computer.— February 23, 2010 12:47 a.m.

For example SD, did you hear about the guy in Ohio who recently bulldozed his house because he was having tax problems and the bank was about to foreclose on it? He's also thinking about bulldozing his business as well. It's certainly not flying a plane into an IRS building but it IS sending a message to the government and banks-DON'T F*** WITH ME!!! While certain people on here are blogging about celebrities that nobody really gives a rat's ass about, I'm at least linking those celebrity loving fools with a part of the real world. I'm also too sexy for a manifesto. ;-D And too cool.— February 23, 2010 12:05 a.m.

I wouldn't say it's a memorial or an obit. I'd also like to point out that a vast number of The Reader readers are complete morons and are the type of people to look up wide-eyed from their soap operas when other people are discussing world affairs...for example... Tom:Hey John? Did you hear that the Federal Government is coming out with an explanation on the September 11th attacks? John:Really Tom? The Feds are going to somehow explain how the world's worst attack on American soil happened on their watch and they don't have a clue as to how it occured? *wink wink* Atypical Reader reader: Really? The Twin Towers that were so adored were slammed into? :-O Maybe I'll create a blog on here just to inform the sheep what exactly is happening in their worlds....— February 22, 2010 10:39 p.m.
"Healthy" Expansion? For Whom?
When I said BUY AMERICAN, I wasn't actually advocating buying at Wal-Mart. Everyone knows how good Wal-Mart was when the old man was alive and kicking. As for the deregulation and moving jobs overseas, it all had to start somewhere. Growing up, there were companies moving their operations here to America. Then the Dems(Clinton) got into office and started re-regulating everything. It's always been my beliefe that if the Dems hadn't tried to fix what wasn't broken, most of the companies that left for lower wages would've stuck it out only for the Made In The USA label. You ARE right however about those companies cutting off their noses to spite their faces...— February 22, 2010 10:30 p.m.
