AG-All politics aside,as an American I'm ashamed to say that I'm from the same country as the people depicted in those clips. As for the politics,it's a cold,hard fact of life. People are profiled. It's up to the black community to step up to the plate and tell themselves"HEY DICKHEAD! I'd like to shop where I want. Quit being a ghetto rat and f***in' it up for the rest of us." Instead,they relie on liberal bleeding hearts and Jesse and Al to do their bidding for them. It all comes down to personal responsibility. Same goes for the kids in Jersey. #1-I'll bet dollars to doughnuts that those people came to the aid of those homeless people because when the mafia still ran the streets,they instilled a different set of values in their towns. I wish the mafia was still as strong today as it was 25 years ago. #2-It's parents responsibility to to make sure that the product of their loins aren't acting like a**holes. Those things that were re-enacted DO happen in America and that's a shame. However,I'm sure those two examples also happen in Europe. "Is it funny to think about a child’s life being endangered?" Spare us the fake concern CuddleFish. I too watched it and laughed. If the kid was ok,cool. If the kid died in the puruit of breaking news,oh f***in' well. People,including children,die everyday. It's a part of life. Get over it AND yourself. "Is stereotyping black people funny?" John Kitchin replies: I first became aware of the exemptions of Canada and Mexico when the characters in Second City TV, a comedy group, said that they were not permitted to use the name Canada, nor Kanadian Korner, nor any of that. They had to settle for calling their sketch “The Great White North.” They said in interviews about the show that there are treaties, some of them part of a predecessor of NAFTA, which establish this exemption. I took note, as I write tourism books. As I understand it, from being arrested, it is the foreign country that can prosecute you. I was prosecuted in Mexico. Here’s the interesting part: Does internet publishing qualify someone as a “published tourism author,” and thus exempt from this treaty? I’m not a lawyer, but I have to know enough of the laws regarding what cannot be written because I do write and publish books. I got into a huge amount of trouble once for suggesting that Holy Communion consisted of more than just bread and wine. So let me get this straight. Because of some treaty,I can't say"F*** Mexico!
