Is Chula Vista's Future Blight Around the Corner?
@surfpuppy619: Again, you have NO proof, just absurd accusations.— October 10, 2010 12:44 a.m.
Chula Vista to Cash In on Telecom Revolution? Prop H to Decide
@surfpuppy619: here we go again. Where is your proof retiring as a millionaire from municipal work in Chula Vista? You have none. This is not Bell, CA. When those agencies continue to collect their fees, they'll just change the names. Enough said.— October 9, 2010 8:06 p.m.
Is Chula Vista's Future Blight Around the Corner?
@surfpuppy619: and you have proof this is going-on in Chula Vista? I am not talking about Bell, CA. I am talking about Chula Vista. Where is your proof? You have none except wild accusations. Again, the visceral distaste you have is ever present.— October 9, 2010 8:04 p.m.
Chula Vista to Cash In on Telecom Revolution? Prop H to Decide
@Founder & @Surfpuppy: What if I told you that everybody is already paying this UUT tax and a small amount of companies are still collecting the "fees," but the fees identified as local fees and then they choose to not even give that money to the city due to their interpretation of the law. If you don't like paying taxes, I can understand. But these are fees already paid to companies and they keep them! and @Founder: thanks for the compliment on my pic.— October 9, 2010 6:30 a.m.
Is Chula Vista's Future Blight Around the Corner?
@SurfPuppy619: Tell me how you really feel. I'd take the time to disagree with each of your points, but having seen your posts from the past . . . I think we all can see your visceral distaste for those that serve you.— October 9, 2010 6:21 a.m.
Chula Vista to Cash In on Telecom Revolution? Prop H to Decide
Yes on Prop H. Save City Services.— October 6, 2010 7:41 p.m.
Is Chula Vista's Future Blight Around the Corner?
Vote Yes on Prop H. Save City Services.— October 6, 2010 7:37 p.m.
Chula Vista Is the Happiest Place on Earth
Rohr Park is in the City of Chula Vista. Not Bonita. If it was in Bonita, you wouldn't need to go through the Chula Vista Fire Chief, et al for permits. You could say Rohr Park is next to Bonita or surrounded by Bonita, but it is Chula Vista.— September 8, 2010 7:54 p.m.
South Bay Shortfall
@rojoca: The city code enforcement is one of the few departments that actually makes money for the city after a full cost recovery. They routinely fine residents that violate exactly what you were talking about. I travel throughout Chula Vista all the time (East & West) and I see nothing of what you are talking about. Perhaps this is a perception you have of a city many years ago, but you are completely without merit in your statement.— August 14, 2010 6:40 p.m.
