Investigations of Former Chula Vista City Council Member Mitch Thompson Completed and Dropped
I think most of us understand that this was solely a political motivation by Roach so he could get his name out there and be more hopeful for elected office.— November 7, 2010 2:34 p.m.

Bond Money Figures Big in South Bay Schools’ Elections
The U/T has done, by my count, two articles recently on this subject as it relates to contractor's giving large sums to their candidates of choice for the SUHSD Board of Trustees. The most recent article: http://www.signonsandiego.com/news/2010/oct/25/co… Goes to greater length specifically on the SUHSD campaign contributions. I think it is important to note that there appears to be a strong slate where contributions are given by contractors to Cartmill, McCann & Ricassa, while the other three strong challengers seem to be getting a lot of their contributions from employee unions.— October 30, 2010 9:19 p.m.
Public Records Suggest Southwestern College Used Public Funds Frivolously
We should all have a slush fund foundation. It's surprising that the leadership at Southwestern are still acting as if there was an endless pot of money to spend funds, even if it comes from their shady "Foundation." Isn't there someway to investigate the Foundation since it claims to hold non-profit status? I know you can't do the usual Freedom of Information Act request, but there should be a way to look into the IRS documents because of their non-profit status. All non-profits have to register with the state of California and file annually with the state some financial documentation.— October 22, 2010 12:57 a.m.
Is Chula Vista's Future Blight Around the Corner?
Being that you continue to refuse to answer my question: Do you even live in Chula Vista? I can only guess you live no where Chula Vista. So, you do not know what we are going through down here. If you did, I doubt you would so vociferous and lacking empathy with your arguments.— October 15, 2010 5:55 a.m.

Is Chula Vista's Future Blight Around the Corner?
yes. money terms being used fluidly. once again. HR? I told you already, you can only request that info from the City Clerk's office for all Freedom of Information Act items. HR will ask where your court order is. Have you ever done a Freedom of Information Act request, or do you just blow hot air all the time. BTW, you still haven't answered my question. Do you even live in Chula Vista? If not, you have no voice. Goodbye now.— October 12, 2010 8:35 p.m.

Is Chula Vista's Future Blight Around the Corner?
I'll even do you and Flounder a favor and provide you with a link the U/T did last summer (2009). All you need to do is search a particular job class or a person's name and it shows their salary range, but it does not include the compensation, your beloved subject. At least from there you can formulate their SDCERS payments and health benefits. http://data.uniontrib.com/san-diego/payroll/— October 11, 2010 8:27 p.m.
