Castle Park schools besieged by age
Sweetwater has a dishonest principal who is trying to be a city council member when he can't even run a school. He says education is his passion, but he treats teachers like criminals and caters to the disruptive students and their parents. SUHSD has some housecleaning to do with some of their lousy anti-teacher administrators. His new vice- principal is an insult to public education and an absolute waste of an office. I pity the poor teachers who work at that school. They are investigated and reprimanded when they try to discipline a disruptive student in their classes. Teachers want to leave and retire early.— December 29, 2015 10:34 a.m.
Shocking goings-on at Green Elementary School
Good comment, Visduh. Down in South Bay we are still dealing with administrators who let the bullies and their parents run the school and ruin the careers of teachers who stood up against them. The best method is ask good students if they have teachers who stand up to bullies. This is the way to find out which teachers are being harassed the most. There are parents who LIVE to get teachers in trouble. The job is very stressful, and good teachers are undervalued. Union has nothing to do with that fact.— November 6, 2015 2:10 p.m.
Chula Vista schools' east side–west side divide
Unruly kids from other neighborhoods coming into East campuses and RUINING the class. Yelling at teachers, sassing, threatening teachers, lying to administrators and degrading the schools. Who gets reprimanded? The teachers. WE NEED BETTER ADMINISTRATORS WHO SUPPORT TEACHERS AND DISCIPLINE BAD KIDS.— November 5, 2015 3:35 p.m.
Trouble ahead, trouble behind
MTS is trying to fire its 20+ year employees, especially black men. MTS practices nepotism, and is an unfair and toxic work environment that allows harassment and bullying.— October 3, 2015 4:15 p.m.
Solar power vs. SDG&E
SDG&E, MTS ...these companies don't care about you at all! THEY WANT YOUR MONEY! MTS fires their nonwhite employees right before retirement! NO DARK-skinned people get to retire from MTS!! SDG&E are DOUBLE BILLING elderly customers and charging late fees monthly. They are REPTILES!— October 3, 2015 9:36 a.m.
Next up: Sweetwater's sodbuster supe
Hi Mr. Stover! I sure hope you like teachers! We have had an epidemic of administrators, board members and supers who HATE TEACHERS, and we are almost afraid to hope for any respect from SUHSD...— March 16, 2015 1:55 p.m.
Jacobs backs Tuck
Older teachers are our better teachers. I feel Irwin Jacobs, and anyone who trashes and degrades our older teachers is an elitist. He is out of touch with public education. Teacher-bashing is done by people who were either below-average students, or people who attended private schools. Period. San Diego's finest educators are over 50. Rich people make money off charter schools. Quit tearing pieces off of our public education! Shame on Irwin Jacobs.— October 6, 2014 9:31 p.m.
