CCDC and other disappointments
There's a terrific place for those that find downtown far too alive for their tastes. It's called Wesley Palms.— January 21, 2010 1:09 p.m.
The Last Sunny Day For A While
Not to change the subject, but does anyone beside me wish that the staff blogs had their own comments page? I cannot tolerate 35 little squares of Don Bauder's face with my morning coffee!! Hey, anti, speaking of Bauder, there you go! There is someone older than you!— January 21, 2010 12:21 p.m.
The Last Sunny Day For A While
You better, you old curmudgeon.— January 20, 2010 11:28 a.m.
We were all going to...DIE!!!
Pete, good for you for making the effort. I'm ten years older than you and I work out every day. I just force myself. And trust me, there are days when I would rather stay in bed but I dragged my sorry, Chargers-are-a-huge-disappointment hungover ass to the gym at 7:00 and kicked that hangover's ass. Just start doing it. You WILL get to the point where you feel like crap if you miss it. And you have to get rid of the candy. Sugar is poison to the human body. Highly addictive, and of no value. Eating a piece of apple pie is better than eating candy. So choose your poison wisely.— January 18, 2010 11:56 a.m.

REALLY?! I'll do it in a blog. Needless to say, I was a teenage.......— January 17, 2010 4:01 p.m.

Out of turn!! Anyway, back atcha! Go, Charges!! Anyway, I'll be there....— January 17, 2010 3:53 p.m.
Bonus Blog: Worst and Best Romance Movies
Nothing here will ever do justice to this movie. Suffice to say, if you get it, that this movie moved the people that got it.— January 17, 2010 3:48 p.m.
Bonus Blog: Worst and Best Romance Movies
Anti, that is freaking hilarious!! I have Dr. Parnassus in my queue. SD, game on! And I, like you, will NEVER get over the Cat scene. No how, no way. Too many what ifs.— January 17, 2010 3:33 p.m.

Game on and sorta suckin' already!! Must focus on game. Daniels, you are on! After the game, that is. Never thought I would utter those words. Organized sports is a man's gift. I used to disdain the gals that were major sports fans, thinking "there is no way they like football (insert sport of choice here) THAT much. Just doing it to please the man. Now, hell ya! I hang in there knowing that any mess created by the game is mutual, as well as no guilt about the consumption of alcohol at noon.— January 17, 2010 3:10 p.m.

I could never get past the dumping of Cat!! It RUINED the movie for me. Up until then, I loved it. No, no, no! SD, you are missing the reason why BBM was such an affecting film. I cannot articulate right now. I need to give it more thought and the game is on. Plus, I am on my third cocktail. Game day and all.— January 17, 2010 2:29 p.m.
