Has fear of crime kept you from visiting Mexico?
As an almost regular pedestrian crosser, I started to observe more and more tourists as of early 2012. I also observe many unaccompanied attracitve women returning on foot to the US. Obviously they must have a reason not to be afraid. Afterall, one would think that such a person would make a easy target, but no, that is not the case. Also, go to the last trolley station on a mild or warm Friday or Saturday night and you will see many, many scantily clad beautiful women walking from the US side across the border. No fear or paranoia there. The business convention know as "Tijuana Inovadora" is a huge event and has drawn people from the USA its inception in 2010. I serously think that Tijuana's city government and businesses, and business associations from BOTH sides of the border would participate if the climate were as bad as say . . . AM Hate Radio or Faux News would like to make it out to be.— April 3, 2013 9:40 a.m.

Oceanside couple deny holding 12-year-old as sex slave
This isn't "spill over" crime, 'neck. These people have settled here. This has NOTHING to do with our proxy drug war south of the border.— March 29, 2013 10:36 p.m.

Sweetwater Interim Superintendent Ed Brand Resigns
It is a mystery to me why the blue collar and the para unit of the classifieds voted to "endorse" Q.— September 25, 2012 11:34 a.m.
Sweetwater Interim Superintendent Ed Brand Resigns
What do you expect from Repukes like McCan't or Cart-run-of-the-mill? Or the Dem-sell-out Ricasa? McCan't even wants to add an "assistant to the Superintendent." Is this Ricasa's way to distance herself from Q?— September 25, 2012 11:31 a.m.
Sweetwater Interim Superintendent Ed Brand Resigns
"Nobody informed teachers or the community that former interim superintendent Ed Brand had resigned — his empty chair was the only clue." Save for a cryptic e-mail informing us that male-emasculator par exellence and Gandaya hatchet woman, Maria Castratilleja was giong to function as "Duty officer."— September 24, 2012 1:52 p.m.
Sweetwater Interim Superintendent Ed Brand Resigns
Remember, ANNIE, you were one of the ones who replied to me on signonsandiego to "let's give him a chance," whereas I rejected him from Day One.— September 24, 2012 1:36 p.m.

Hopefully people will show up!— September 24, 2012 1:17 p.m.
Sweetwater Interim Superintendent Ed Brand Resigns
Yeah, but as I remember, you were the one saying let's give Doc Branded a chance when he came out of reitement. A small group of us NEVER wanted him back since Day One.— September 24, 2012 1:15 p.m.
