New sewer lines or new stadium fro San Diego? Your choice.
Only 600 million dollars. Or 200 to 500 million more to bring it up to 800 million to 1.1 billion dollars. That's a little steep to watch the Chargers lose yet again. It' ain't a trillion dollars but danged if it isn't more then 10% of a trillion and that's a bunch of dough.— January 14, 2015 11:52 a.m.
New sewer lines or new stadium fro San Diego? Your choice.
Another water main break in Little Italy this morning.— January 14, 2015 11:28 a.m.
New sewer lines or new stadium fro San Diego? Your choice.
Sewers, sidewalks and streets or stadiums and ferries wheels? Is San Diego a place where over 1,400,000 live or just a couple of hundred swells?— January 14, 2015 7:50 a.m.
Rake in $1 million a year! Pay no taxes!
This sort of sociopathic behavior borders on the insane.— January 13, 2015 6:13 p.m.
Prison magnate among mayoral heavy-hitters
When prisons are run for profit our liberty is a commodity. With only five percent of the world's population yet 25% of the world's inmate population we should do something. Ending the war on drugs would be a start.— January 12, 2015 9:21 p.m.
Unions declare San Diego wage war
Are Democrats so ineffective because they are just as attached to General Dynamics and billionaire Jacobs as they supposedly are to labor? Labor needs to become a party unto itself.— January 10, 2015 11:27 a.m.
Get in line, Chargers
While the NFL could fix this dire need for LA football by authorizing a couple of new teams the desire is for more local government subsidies. Playing one location off another to make suckers of both locations. Or are we just reaching a football saturation point? Have they reached a point where there is too much NFL product around? Or are the billionaire owners in real danger of losing so much money that they need to suck up valuable city resources from the shrinking middle class and growing poor?— January 5, 2015 4:21 p.m.
Peevey in their pocket
CPUC, a division of California Edison. It's not that some officials are corrupt, wink-wink, it's just that they're so cheap to buy. Or will some enterprising financial reporter root out a bigger payday?— January 4, 2015 9:08 p.m.
At work on Christmas
No Ken, not me. Although I know of at least two other Michael Valentines in town. Happy New Year.— December 31, 2014 7:34 p.m.
Why more people leave than enter San Diego
Amen brother.— December 30, 2014 7:56 p.m.
