Put Me in Coach, I'm Ready to Play...
eh, it was a cheap laugh. i don't think it was one of my better efforts in the joke department. but hey, leno gets paid millions and millions for crappy comedy....— September 15, 2009 3:38 p.m.
Idiotic Athletes -- The Michael Jordan and Serena Williams Editions
Thanks for that link, Comedian. I had heard that Obama said (off the record) that Kanye was a jackass. I heard previously, people knock Obama for commenting on things that happen in the news. I'm not sure why it bothers them to have him weigh in. Now, if I worked with Obama, I'd tell him to keep his mouth shut, because you never know who you'll offend. But I like a President that is a bit hip, and in the loop on current events and things of that nature. And one that might actually know a Kanye West song or two. I'm wondering if he'll invite Taylor Swift and Kanye over for a beer and a malt liquor. Well mental...I appreciate that. But the editors took it down. Things were getting really heated with death threats against me, and all sorts of bizarre behavior. An address I lived at 15 years ago was posted, along with my phone number. Hopefully people that break the law, realize why it's wrong and will change their ways. And I should also realize, when things get heated, I don't need to act like such a "jackass" myself.— September 15, 2009 3:37 p.m.

Well, September Issue may be "revealing" but it was also kind of boring. Perhaps the first documentary I've ever seen that I've said that about.— September 15, 2009 10:35 a.m.

Nice call with Kiedis! I always thought he looked like Iggy Pop, but I'm now switching that and saying Morissette!— September 15, 2009 10:30 a.m.

You want to cover your crotch. I'm worried about my back (she mentioned scratching backs in a song, I believe).— September 15, 2009 1:10 a.m.
Family Time
I wonder if there were any complaints of marijuana smoke, like the time Marley played at the Del Mar Fairgrounds.— September 14, 2009 5:23 p.m.

The weirdest thing about that CD, refried...is this was her "I'm an angry, scorned woman CD...and I'm venting all my frustrations on this record." Which was go written by a guy known to make hit records for people (that being said, I still like Jagged Little Pill...it's just fun to make fun of it). I agree with you on all points, aside from spooning the fly out of the wine. I probably still wouldn't drink it. And a pardon, two minutes too late. Has that EVER happened to anyone, or is it just in those cheesy movies?— September 14, 2009 3:15 p.m.

Barb...is there a way you can explain to this guy, with very insane examples, why his complaints weren't followed up on? He obviously didn't get the fact that HE needs to find out where the noise is coming from, for anything to be done about it. So, you could say to him, "What if you hear a motorcycle ride by, and you write me a complaint about cars with loud stereos and loud Harleys driving by at night. And then you wonder why I'm not doing anything about it, or why I'm not on the street monitoring cars." Just keep walking him thru those types of examples, until he realizes that you guys can only do so much. I would also explain to him, that having a disagreement with someone on a matter involving things like this, should hardly mean you'll be rude to each other in elevators or anywhere else you see each other, as that would be like 3rd graders not speaking to each other on the playground. Then ask him, "Would you prefer that when you ask us a question or file a complaint, we then just start ignoring you any time we see you? I don't feel that's how mature adults need to act." And hopefully, talking down to him (and at the same time explaining that to him), should drive the points home. If not, f*** him, and don't say hi to him. And don't hold those elevator doors when they're shutting!!!!— September 14, 2009 3:12 p.m.
That Was Then, This Is Buju
Those are good points. I didn't realize that song was written about that incident. I just read the lyrics online, and it doesn't seem like that song advocates violence against gays. I just hope this artist realizes that...JUST because he was raped by a man, doesn't mean that man was gay. Homosexual men like other men. They don't like 15-year-old boys. That would be pedophiles. And, they don't rape other men. They date men that are interested in a mutual relationship.— September 14, 2009 10:53 a.m.
