Jay, sorry for hijacking the thread. But hey...my name appeared. This is the last from me (for now) Cuddle, also...if you go back to how I'm so insulting...our big "fight" seems to have started in that incest thread. The only thing I wrote offensive, was the title (one dad at a time). You were the first one to attack me in it, calling me an idiot and other things. Even with that, I responded by answering your questions, without any name calling. Don't believe me? Go back and read the responses to that blog. Also, to say I find a group of people and "pick on them" is also absurd. Yes, I do that if it's cops giving tickets for a charge that doesn't exist. Or a group of burglars that did something stupid. Or whatever topic strikes my fancy that day. I have to assume, a cop that DOES NOT do those stupid things, wouldn't be offended. As always, if you call me out on a fact that I'm wrong about, or show me a perspective I hadn't thought about...I'll be the first to admit it. I seem to recall doing it recently in the movie threads, when I said something about a film, and someone gave me a take that was the complete opposite of what I was saying. I had to re-think, and realized they were right, and said so. That's all for now. Unlike Jay (thanks for the backhanded compliment, bro...hehehe)...I respond to all the stuff I write. Other writes have said they don't, because they aren't paid more to do it. But I feel I owe it to people. If they think I'm wrong, or want to discuss a topic...hell, I type 120 minutes. Why not take a few minutes to rattle of some missive (I know Geek, I put the "miss" in missive). Good night to all. Even Pete, who is probably wearing PJs that have Curious George flipping the bird to the guy in yellow.

Pete, you kill me. You say I'm boring...yet, you've used that same example about offending people sooo many times. And I've told you, regarding that...how can a parent not be bothered by someone reading a shirt with those words, as their young kid is nearby? But back to Cuddle and Geek...since I'm such a mean man that attacks any woman in my path! (I'm sure Geek will post a thread that shows something Freud said on why I do such things) Oh yeah, both of you (assuming Cuddlefish is the same person that used to go by Fish) have said numerous times in threads, you found something I said funny. Weird that you don't remember that. Also weird that...(warning: offensive line to follow) women don't seem to know how to debate without getting crazy. Refried and Pete have had debates with me that got heated. They're still great guys that can hang and talk in other threads. Yet you two women, and a few other, get mad at something I say, and then attack. When I attack back (if you can call what I do "attacking") you complain. Yet, it's one of you women (I won't say which one) that immediately had to warn me about Storyteller, when I posted something positive on one of her threads. I was warned that she'll stalk me, harass me, etc etc. Yet, I never had a problem with her (under any of the various names she used). We are all adults here (I think). Why does anyone need to warn anyone of anything? If you don't like something, don't read it. I get paid either way. It'll be your loss (especially if you find Stern and Imus entertaining...yikes).

Pete and Geek, I did get the dowry story wrong on one of the re-telling versions and did say it backwards. But the point still stands. Geek, who for a long time, started coming on my blogs and attacking me (because she didn't like my take on a story in the news), and this was one time she said I had the definition wrong. I looked it up, and some popular online dictionary, and one of the definitions worked for the way I used it. And she never admitted "Okay, you were right. For once." She would've been able to admit it and get a zinger in, all at once. Cuddle, not sure why you are so offended by the incest blog. I was more offended by you saying that it's common in society. So...I said it was 1% or less of the population, but admitted I pulled that figure out of my butt (I know Geek, it's no different than what I usually do). You never responded. And yes, Geek is also right, that I ask people to go onto the Reader website and my blogs. Just as I got a brake job from a place that advertised in the Reader. It makes good business sense. Geek and I were friends way before she came to these threads. Since we had email exchanges, but never really had a lot to say (as I didn't care about her cat, her post office job, or the guys that she either hated or that didn't like her), I suggested she come to the boards and we could talk about the topics of the day. I think she got offended by my take on things like skydivers. And yes, if you do an activity and I say "You're an idiot if you skydive" I can see how that's insulting. I just get tired of people dying, or having to be rescued by the cops, for doing dumb things. And I realize now, that the dumb people that do these dumb things, get offended. I will try to work on that.

Yes, I agree complete with PistolPete. Wait! He said I was boring and dull (isn't that redundant? let's ask Geek, the human dicitonary). I agree with everything BUT that comment by Pete. Okay, where to start. First, Geek and Cuddle both use a joke that's 50 years old, in saying that they can't compare me to Don Imus, because he's occasionally funny and informative. Wow, if you two both think that, you're both mental midgets. I understand, you need to say that for the joke to work. But neither of you likes Imus. Cuddle, you are wrong when you say I'd never re-consider my position. I've done it in a few blogs. One being about cops that shot a local musician they said reached for a toy gun in the backseat. The thread got long and heated, but I was reading the info the people were posting, and then conceeded that they were correct, and my original stance on the blog was wrong. Cuddle, you say you were warned about how if you cross me, I harass you. Well, haven't you been proven wrong in that? How have I bugged you since the whole incest thread that you found so offensive? I send you one personal message via this website, politely asking why you didn't respond to the points I made. You sent me back a snide comment saying you said all you had to say on the subject. Which was, really, very little. You just attacked me for being insenstive. Which I really wasn't. This woman Macknezie said she had a 10 year relationship with her dad, that was consensual. So, for me calling her crazy...well, unless she was a minor (she was 19 when it started), to me, that qualifies as crazy.
