STP Reunion, Online Communions, Occult Minions, and some local garage rock history you should know
Hey Jay...that STP thing is very interesting. When I saw The Jam at House of Blues the other night...I asked how many seats were left for their "meet and greet" with Velvet Revolver. I wasn't going to get one. They were $300 each. Ouch! But, they said all 100 of them sold out. So, I'm curious. What happens if Scott doesn't show up? Did people just pay $300 to meet Slash, and the rest of GnR? Some fans will be ticked.— January 25, 2008 3 p.m.
A Few Funny Men
The woman in the middle looks familiar to me. I always see her in the left lane on the freeway, going 50 mph!!! Hey barb, have you seen Sean perform stand up? He's great.— January 24, 2008 10:19 a.m.
And the Oscar Goes to....
Lewis was in There Will Be Blood, not No Country. Yeah, they both had huge mustaches. But, in this movie, he channeled the spirit of John Huston!— January 24, 2008 10:17 a.m.
Heath Ledger Dies
Nah...that won't happen. No way. Especially someone that was dabbling in drugs. Now, if Hal Holbrook died, or some old actor, that's a different story. I thought it was odd that John Travolta said he'd give back all his acting awards and everything, for Heath to still be alive. REALLY!?!?! I sure wouldn't, if I was in his place. I mean, you have to think he was doing this stuff when Anna Nicole Smith died. Did it give him pause? Or did he just keep on partying, popping pills, and shooting up?— January 24, 2008 10:16 a.m.

Well, I'd say...it was a movie ending. The problem is, the film wasn't about Favre. It was about that kicker for the Giants. He misses two field goals, that could win the game for the team. The coach is furious. And, in overtime, Green Bay gets the ball. Well, that nice run for the NY Giants is about to come to an end when....wait, a twist in the plot. The Giants intercept. Now, a 47-yard-attempt, in horrible weather, for a kicker that has already missed a few easy ones. And what does he do? He makes it. Roll the credits.— January 23, 2008 9:41 a.m.

Do you think that reality show with Gene Simmons shows him the way he really is, in real life? Or, is it typical of most reality shows?— January 23, 2008 9:39 a.m.

You have to do a follow up, on what they are thinking now. Phillip Rivers: Everyone thinks I had such a gutsy performance. It's great, nobody will worry about the interceptions I threw. Volek: Why didn't I play? Rivers wasn't 100%, and that's why he threw interceptions. He wasn't even using his legs. LT: I'm going to keep my helmet and visor on for another two weeks. It'll avoid having to answer questions as to why I kept it on during the game, instead of rooting for my team. Neal Kaeding: Nobody can blame me for this. For once!!!! Norv Turner: Maybe I should've went for it on 4th down in the 4th period. Oh well, there's always next year. Hey, they can't fire me. They got so much bad PR for firing Marty after getting them to the playoffs, Hell, I just won two straight playoff games! Antonio Gates: My toe be hurting!!!— January 22, 2008 9:48 p.m.
Give Bees a Chance
OJ to judge "Don't cross me, bitch. You wouldn't like me when I'm mad!"— January 18, 2008 10:29 a.m.
Gotta Keep 'em Decorated
Okay, here. Try this: There's a lady who knows/All that glitters is gold And she's buying a stairway, to 7-11 When she gets there she knows/That the store will never close And with a word, she can get, the Slurpee that she came for.— January 18, 2008 12:55 a.m.
Pac-Man Fever
You "nearly hit a car" from laughing at Randy Moss saying this? Funny, because Randy Moss hits things in his car. In fact, the guy who says it isn't in him to "beat a woman" hit a woman with his car. ON PURPOSE!!!! He got mad at a meter maid, so he got in his car, and ran into her while she was standing (he was charged, too...shoulda been charged w/ attempted murder). Second, the mother of his two kids...charged him with domestic abuse (but later dropped the charges). Unless he is making a habit of dating women that lie, and say that he hits them (which is highly doubtful)...this guy is a liar. And an abuser. So, let's all hope the Chargers DBs abuse him this Sunday, and knock the cornrows off his head.— January 18, 2008 12:53 a.m.
