At the Movies (long film titles, to go with all the long lines you'll see this weekend)
I love Romy and Michelle. And Overboard was cute. Clueless is one of the best teen comedies ever made. The rest of your list...yikes!— November 29, 2009 9:37 a.m.
Thanksgiving Dinner
You Jews and your crazy rules! Lambert just told me that last Thanksgiving, all he knew was that his son made the top 75, not the top 10. So, I guess I got that wrong. I could've sworn he said top 10, because if someone told me their son made the top 75 in ANYTHING, I wouldn't think it was a big deal. And I remembered thinking that we needed to watch Idol, to see him sing.— November 29, 2009 1:46 a.m.
Party Crashing with the President, Car Crashing with Tiger
Okay, well...don't leave us hangin'. What happened? I'm assuming it wasn't a big fight or you would've said that. I'm guessing that an 8-year-old that sees one more present, won't send you away.— November 29, 2009 1:40 a.m.
At the Movies (long film titles, to go with all the long lines you'll see this weekend)
Shizz...I'm off to see Precious in a few minutes, but your point about the title still doesn't explain things. If it was going to be called "Push" and that title was used -- why not just "Precious"? Why the entire long sentence?— November 28, 2009 7:37 p.m.
At the Movies (long film titles, to go with all the long lines you'll see this weekend)
Red Sox...great list. I never saw JFK, but in a book Roger Ebert wrote, he listed that as one of the greatest movies ever made. As long as you realize it's complete fiction. Oliver Stone created a fictional character to tie all the conspiracy theories together. When, in fact, it was just a lone gunman (oswald) that took out Kennedy. refried...what do you mean you don't know "crap" about movies? You gave a nice list. And people that "know" about movies, want their lis to be sprinkled with crap by Fellini, just because they dissected the film in a film class at NYU or something. Karen....great list, aside from Lost in Translation. It had its moments, but was a disappointing film on so many levels. Dani...Gremlins? What the....! Put Terms of Endearment on the top of your list. One of my all-time favs. And the Net, if that's the Sandra Bullock film I'm thinking of...bollocks! It was bad. Thunderball, as with most Bond films, is great fun. I just can't place which one that is, or any lines from it. Psycho...very nice list. Although, I thought the Color Purple was extremely overrated. Great acting by the cast, but I'm so glad this didn't win any Oscars at the time (a lot of people were upset about that). It just doesn't pack the punch that I think it should.— November 28, 2009 11:29 a.m.
Thanksgiving Dinner
Ahhhh...so, Gene Simmons is Jewish. And he sells out the bands name for any product he can, even caskets. No, I'm not much of a KISS fan. A few good songs. I saw them when I was 22. Nice pyrotechnic special effects. Once is enough with them. (I have no clue what "tref" means) You dang Vegans. The body needs protein and all those other things meat provides.— November 28, 2009 12:37 a.m.
Taking a Stand by Refusing to Stand
I was at Lidos once. Loved it. I think its been family owned for a long time.— November 27, 2009 5:58 p.m.

Pete, it's an okay list. Drop Dazed and Confused, because it's not very good. #2 and #3 are great. Not sure what "Waiting" is....or SFW. Or is that SWF - Single White Female. Movies over and over: Ferris Bueller (got it on right now), Casablanca, Tootsie, The Sting, Shawshank Redeption (which you can watch over and over...just turn on TBS and it'll be showing most days), Star Wars, One Flew Over the Cuckoos Nest, Fandango, Unforgiven, Goodfellas, Prince of Tides, The Natural.....— November 27, 2009 12:50 p.m.
Taking a Stand by Refusing to Stand
Oh, come on, Pete. Yes, food does bring on those feelings (usually chocolate, but pizza has been know to...uh...get a rise out of me on occasion). But I've been to Chicago and NYC. And, sure, some good pizza pies there, but not anything you can't find out here. I had a Philly Cheesesteak sandwich in Philly, too. That was great. And, I've never really tried to find one of those here, but I gotta think some place makes one pretty close.— November 27, 2009 12:58 a.m.
Who You Callin' Chicken?
refried...was he shorter in person? and what did you say to him? Hey, anyone notice the interesting POP UP ad for "chickenfoot" at the top of this? Coincidence????— November 27, 2009 12:17 a.m.
