Being Funny
Bailey was actually hotter! I've always contended that (she was married to James Brolin, before Babs went and stole him away). Happy Days was a great theme, although I liked them using Bill Haley and the Comets a bit more. And, Laverne and Shirley was the perfect theme. It was a goofy song, sung by the goofy stars of the show. More theme songs should've been that way (kinda reminds me of the great scene in Broadcast News, where these two goofy guys are standing over some cheesy Casio keyboard, coming up with various news themes).— May 19, 2009 9:44 a.m.
It's That Time of the Year -- Yearbook Controversy
I don't think with girls, it matters as much what group or club you belong to. I mean...some boy that's in the science club, might have his head dunked in a toilet. But...well, for example, I knew a cute girl named Sally who played the trumpet in a school band. She had no problem getting dates. But, look at all the male performers in the school band.— May 19, 2009 9:42 a.m.

Hey...I think I heard a morning radio show play the argument skit the other day. It was absolutely hysterical. Is that where you go into a different room, depending on what kind of argument you paid for? It was incredibly funny.— May 19, 2009 9:40 a.m.

Yeah, the theme for that isn't so bad. But as a kid, sitcom theme songs annoyed. I mean, how could I like Lovin' Spoonful so much, yet hate John Sebastian singing "Welcome Back"? I liked WKRP theme, especially the ending. Taxi and MASH were somber, and worked well for those respective shows.— May 19, 2009 12:21 a.m.

I don't have speakers that work on my computer. The only skits I remember liking from my childhood, are the dead parrot, the money song that Cleese sings, the nudge nudge, wink wink. I loved Fawty Towers, though.— May 19, 2009 12:19 a.m.

That...is the funniest sounding skit ever. Loved the line "thus disarming him". I have to watch more of those old Monty Python skits. When I was a kid, I didn't find them funny. One in five skits would work. But I was young, and would probably appreciate them more now.— May 18, 2009 8:08 p.m.
It's That Time of the Year -- Yearbook Controversy
Well anti...I don't care if it's irresponsible, because it's a thousand times more irresponsible what the kid did, not wearing underwear. And, just hearing the story, I was able to tell that the girl was up to something. Sometimes a story is so glaringly obvious. So, if false rumours are spread about her, so be it. I think the school should sue that girl and her family, for the cost of new yearbooks for all students. And, unless that girl can PROVE she did not do this on purpose...which she wouldn't be able to do. (on a side note, that story link from laughingstork was very well written and funny)— May 18, 2009 3:25 p.m.

Ya know what it was regarding the Odd Couple? Certain sitcoms, the opening theme song just turned me off. I Love Lucky, Odd Couple, Love Boat, Fantasy Island, Barney Miller...even though that wicked bass line gets stuck in my head. I've never seen a single episode of any of those, although I've seen enough clips of Lucy to know that it was funny. Wanda Sykes always kills on talk shows. She's hysterical. But, one hour of her stand-up, had only two jokes that were good.— May 18, 2009 1:13 a.m.

People taking photos are more interested in the smiles, and probably aren't looking at all that stuff. I just found out that this girl had taken photos like this before, WITH her mom (also photos of them doing drugs together). This was told to me by someone via email, don't know if it's true or not.— May 18, 2009 1:11 a.m.
Being Funny
I've never seen a single epsidoe of the Odd Couple (but loved the movie). Winters was a great actor, but I think acting as a craft is highly overrated. I mean, the dude was fat. So yeah...he looked the part of Minnesota Fats! I think Williams was hysterically funny, but we just all grew tired of his goofy talk show appearances where he's talking a mile-a-minute. The guy could do improv like nobody, and was funny back in the day. Yeah, Fallon does seem to crack himself up a lot.— May 17, 2009 1:54 p.m.
