AG Jerry Brown Claims He Didn't Know San Diego Has an Upcoming Election. Is Brown Staggeringly Stupid or Does He Think San Diegans Are Staggeringly Stupid?
The AG just stated in an official report that Sunroad did everything legally correct. ==================================== Well if the AG said it, then it MUST be true. Get serious. Sunroad violated FAA and City law. Plain and simple, and that is a known fact. Why do you think Sunroad TORE OFF THE TOP 2 STORIES-because they were RIGHT???? $40 million dollar lawsuit!!! Again, get serious, the entire value of the bulding itself is not even worth $20 million. Sort of like me suing the City and asking for $40 million because I tripped on a sidewalk and fell scrapping my knee.........not happening.— May 23, 2008 3:29 p.m.
AG's Report Clearing Sanders Is a Joke, as Expected. Here's Some Advice: Follow the Money
Don, I know you will be able to answer this one- Where is Richard Silberman at today???? Bay Area???— May 23, 2008 11:39 a.m.
AG Jerry Brown Claims He Didn't Know San Diego Has an Upcoming Election. Is Brown Staggeringly Stupid or Does He Think San Diegans Are Staggeringly Stupid?
The bogus AG report won't hurt Mike at all. Let's face facts, the voting public are pretty smart-they know a rat when they smell one. This hater campaign against Mike by the UT and others has been raging for 3 years now-yet Mike STILL has a 2 to 1 lead over his NEAREST opponent-Goldsmith. There is no amount of UT, or AG, or other press that is going to derail Mike or his attack on these dirtbags. The public is onto the scam, and we are not going to be had again. Mike will be re elected and I am not worried about this nonsense one bit. Neither should Mike or McGrath or anyone else.— May 23, 2008 11:36 a.m.
How San Diego's pension debt ballooned
Actually Don was out front and center on the corporate welfare scams with the Chargers and the Padres-and he was by far the most vocal in the media, using his column as a bully pullpit. I would love to read Don's columns back then because I agreed with him 100%, the City should never subsidize billionaire pro sports team owners-which the UT editorial staff pushed for as hard as Don pushed against it. So you cannot say Don was not out there fighting corruption. And everything he said about thee deals being wrong has come true.— May 22, 2008 11:31 p.m.

We're Not in Kansas Anymore
It's kind of funny you write "your a moron" when it should be "you're" a moron. ======================================== Fumbler never made it past 5th grade. I have tried to point out his pathetic English errors, but it falls on deaf ears. So, I must say Fumbler, keep "your" nose clean or it will be back to Chino (or was it Lompoc?) for you. Remember Fumbler, the truth can "hert" sometimes.......bwahahahahahahahah.— May 22, 2008 2:44 p.m.
Herbal Life's pyramid scheme
No, I have never been involved with MLM's. I have been to a few Amway recruitment meetings though. In fact Amway has trained their people to not even mention the name "Amway" in these recruitment meetings today because of the negative association. I get "invited" to an Amway meeting every 15 years or so, and when I hear the pitch the first thing I ask at the end is if they are asociated with Amway, and then they have to cough up the truth, and I tell them flat out-thanks but no thanks.— May 22, 2008 9:48 a.m.
Governments' Pension Numbers Often Meaningless. Actuaries Cave to Pressure, Says New York Times, Citing San Diego
Mayor Jerry Sanders has done what he promised to do. He has returned San Diego to the bond market, and he did it without filing bankruptcy (as suggested by City Attorney Michael Aguirre), without raising taxes and without gutting the pension plan so important to current city retirees (as again suggested by Aguirre). And he did it in less than four years. ========================================= Bwahahahaha.... This was in the letters section of the UT this morning, and I never laughed so hard in all my life. She is either a Sanders staffer or has brain damage. If this person is on the level and believes the things she wrote, and there are others like her, then this City will never recover.— May 22, 2008 7:52 a.m.

AG's Report Clearing Sanders Is a Joke, as Expected. Here's Some Advice: Follow the Money
How can Brown run again-is he not termed out for Gov???? There is no way that dork Judge Wells will ever be a federal judge, not even a magistrate judge, he does not have the brain power-CA court of appeals, maybe. Maienschein and Peters have no chance-ZERO- of becoming CA. The only serious competition for Mike is Goldsmith. I predict Mike will pull 40%-55% of the vote June 3. If he hits over 50% that's it-he wins outright. If under 50% it will be between him and Goldsmith, and Mike will crush him by a 2 to 1 or 3 to 2 margin in November.— May 21, 2008 10:58 p.m.
